It would be extremely difficult for them to sign Leonard and then still have enough assets to match $27 million in incoming salary for Davis in a trade this summer.
gotta give maginka credit, this paves the way for another threepeat...

Even if they did, none of them are prolific 3pt threats and there's only one ball.
one LOB trophy they'd all be collect each season too
damn you know mj is pulling his clout with nike to block this . he knows 2 or 3 more rings for lebron and the GOAT debate is over![]()
Actually, I shouldn't say extremely difficult. If the Lakers can find a way to trade for someone due somewhere in the range of $5 million to $8 million or so next year then I think the math could work out for them to sign Leonard to a max deal and then trade said player + Ball + Ingram for Davis. I can't remember whether outgoing money has to be 75% or 85% of incoming money for the trade to be legal under the CBA, hence the wide range. If you see the Lakers make a move like that at the deadline you'll know that's their plan though. But it would take them out of being able to offer Durant a max deal.
What's funny is how everyone worshiped DK but no one wants to play for him.
That is scary as ..potentially the best Big 3 in league history
I could see ESPN being wrecked and the whole bs ecosystem being torched in the next 10 years. Don't be so sure.
6 rings in the most talent prolific era of basketball vs 6 rings in the weakest era of basketball begging other top players to play with you not against you? yeah ok.
also cam newton's career is over got.
Worse sports league of the American Big 4
TV ratings slumping even though the NBA plasters the same handful of teams on TV every night.
