The Football Brainiacs on the father of ATH Bru McCoy.
"Bru McCoy’s transfer/commitment to Texas could pay huge dividends in California. Bru’s father, Horace is a well known, well liked and well-respected gentleman in the area. The families heed his counsel and he’s not shy about pushing the Lonngorns out there."

I think he has a little man syndrom, He has a chance to have good long career as a baseball player but he wants to play football with guys twice his size. IMO he is stupid, he could be a standout baseball player, but he wants to take a beating in football. I dont see him having anything close to a good NFL career.
It's never been safer to be a NFL QB. Some team had to let him know they're taking him in the 1st which could in the long run, earn him more money than baseball.
This kid played at Cedar Hill Trinity Christian his senior year and had a nice performance at the Under Armour game.
A lot of people were wondering why schools weren't lining up for him.

GTFO.... little man syndrome? Here’s the thing, he can try nfl and fail and then try baseball. He can’t do it the other way around. Dude knows that it’ll be a huge challenge to succeed in the nfl and he is willing to test the waters. I may not like him but I respect him. Wish most kids would persevere as much as he does.
It's a direct result of the California schools being way down and Herman knowing the state well.
You'd much rather compete with West Coast schools for elite kids than schools in the Southeast.
Nice DE/LB prospect from Stafford.

Sorry, didn't mean to skip over this. My must-gets aren't that different than others' lists.
I hate to use that term "must-get" because it sounds extreme, but I do feel there are always a few kids for which you simply can't find a viable replacement (i.e. Leal in last class).
Right now, and it's early, I'd go with Evans, Lindberg, Broughton, Ja'Quinden and Ringo.
Inside Texas likes this kid as an Ossai type of player.
They think he could be an offer at some point.
I'm not saying the dude doesn't have guts, generally peaking guys who have little man syndrome have an over abundance of guts and are willing to work long and hard to prove themselves. The fact is he is built to be a baseball player and if he goes to football he could get hurt especially with the way he uses his athletic ability. He doesn't have to be very good to make a mint in baseball and play for 20 years. He might be a good NFL QB but he isn't going to be elite, he is way too short. Yea, he might get drafted in the first round, there are teams willing to take a chance on him, but these are the same teams that took Tim Tiebow, RGIII, Manziel, and even Vince. That is the company he is in.
If/when he goes to the NFL, he will win a few games his Rookie year and then NFL DCs will catch up to him and he won't get a second contract. Not a knock against him as the college game is different than the NFL game. I don't think anyone will argue that baseball is not only the safer bet, but also the smarter choice.
I don't know who originally reported this, but A&M commitments OL Akinola Ogunbiyi (Fort Bend Kempner) and OL Smart Chibuzo (Fort Bend Hightower) should be in Austin this weekend.

I hate OU too.
But you're smoking crack if you think this dude will suck in the NFL just because of size. You can root for it all you want but it ain't going to happen.
I've paid attention to Murray dating back to when he was in 8th grade and folks have always said he was too small to play. After he proved everyone wrong during HS (going undefeated all 3 years that he started), individuals started saying he was too small for college. Dude won a heisman lol and would've had a shot at a Natty had BlowU decided to put a defense around him. He proves people wrong on the HS level, at the college level, and now peeps are saying he's too small for the league. When will yall learn, size doesn't mean talent anymore. If you can play, you can play. Im not talking about something extreme like 5'5 at QB but 5'10 or even 5'9 at QB with Murray's talent is very capable of being successful in the league. He'll be a shorter, faster version of Mahomes. Mark my words. Tua will be killing it in the league in a few as well.
These are the same words used to describe Vince, Manziel, RGIII, and every other athletic QB out there.
1. He won't be able to see above the linemen.
2. To create passing lanes he has to be moved around, that makes it easy for a DC to defend.
3. He is going to a league that everyone is as athletic as he is, thus running is not a huge option.
4. He took hits at a$m and got knocked out, he will take similar hits in the NFL.
Odds are not in his favor, and those odds get longer when you factor in his size and take away his ability to run. I wouldn't touch him just like I wouldn't touch Tua, I have seen nothing that tells me either is going to be great in the NFL. Right now there is only one guy that is a sure fire NFL great, and that is Trevor Lawrence.
Think I remember the kid he killed it in the Under Armour and I believe they kept linking him to Deion Sanders.
Blast from the past, but might not be anything significant.
Coach Hand just started following RB Kameron Martin.

Yep, that's him.
Played for Deion at Trinity Christian.
OrangeBloods saying RB Mookie Cooper of St. Louis, MO will be at UT this weekend.

Maybe just because of Hands time at Auburn or unless he’s thinking of entering the transfer portal. I’d take him no questions asked.
