A team of prosecutors con Mueller decided to go ahead with perjury charges after the FBI decided that Flynn was not lying. I know this has been reiterated several times ITT, but some posters like to spew nonsense.
    Flynn wasn’t charged with perjury.

FBI never said Flynn didn’t lie. They said at the time there was no indication he was lying.

This is getting way ahead of the game.
We still have to see how much of a s bag this self proclaimed s bag is.

Then we can discuss his willingness to take butt shots out of loyalty.

If this isn't foreign policy as crony capitalism I'm not sure what is.
Actually heard one NPR analyst resort to using the word "bonkerballs" to describe the monumental stupidity. I personally prefer the term bonkers.

Stone is the latest and will not be the last.

Trump is less a "good businessman" and more of a /corruption magnet.

as usual, you can't accurately state either the facts or the cover story.

how do you account for Flynn working for Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Russia in 2016-7?

The Wall Street Journal argues Trump may have committed too many crimes to be investigated

As Jonathan Chait, writing for New York Magazine observes, the Journal serves as a useful predictor or “early warning” about the right’s latest political strategy

Chait helpfully distills the essence of Rivkin's thesis for us:
In other words, Trump can’t be investigated because he is such a massive crook.

The president could function when he was defending one private lawsuit and one financial investigation,

but not when he is defending a series of elaborate global rackets.

It’s just a simple matter of time management.

Trump can’t do his job if he has to defend all these crimes.

The problem with Rivkin's argument is that it smacks squarely into

the Supreme Court's ruling in Clinton v Jones,

in which the Clinton Administration similarly argued that forcing a sitting President to undergo

an inquiry into behavior that had allegedly occurred before he assumed office

would be so distracting that it would impair the functions of government.

The Supreme Court’s unanimous rejection of that argument

was gleefully received by the impeachment proponents in the Republican Party,

with nary a whisper of objection or dissent by any prominent Republican voices.

The first time in years that the WSJ has posted something honest:

Trump has committed so many crimes that PROSECUTORS cannot handle the workload.

    Solution: Resign yesterday.

Well that is his 2nd defense I've seen -

the other is: he is obstructing/committing crimes out in the open everyday - so they cannot possibly be crimes

Theres a reason McCabe is allowed to be going around and talking about the book, like Rosenstein stepping down.
Why is McCabe not talking at all about the dossier, Steele, or Ohr?

"In Mr. McCabe’s “The Threat: How the FBI Protects America in the Age of Terror and Trump,” there is no dossier mention. A word search also shows no reference to Mr. Steele or Mr. Ohr."

Odd timing for one of the leaders of the resistance to show up considering how the Russian collusion case is looking. Welcome back RG I hope you'll stay long enough this time to eat your crow.

so then, you see the USA, the richest and most powerful country in the world, as having no sway with Saudi and as being essentially helpless to do anything else but transfer US nuclear tech to Saudi immediately, bypassing all legal and ins utional safeguards?

that's hilarious, but I don't think you actually believe that.

The Russian collusion case is looking better with each new filing. When they finally arrest Don Jr., I would love to be a fly on the wall.

Explain how with each new filing that has nothing to do with Trump/Russia election collusion the case for Trump/Russia election collusion is looking better.
