    I can't stand ESPN's bull .

They are repoting and commenting Gasol to Bucks.

Gasol offers this Gasol offers that,he will do great things, such a good fit.

Beadle says "Now Spurs have a roster spot as well!"

Jalen Rose replies "And who's gonna fill that spot? You?"

It’s Eubanks time. Popovich likes him and he has looked more NBA ready than higher potentials Walker and Metu. I’m ok giving him 5-10 games as the third big and see how he performs.
    nah

Big Dog Robinson actually knew his role and had a few nice games for us tbh. Was always glad Spurs were able to help him get a ring. Melo is still a delusional who thinks he deserves 15 shots a game. and we already have forbes for that
Big Dog came in and really steadied a sinking ship in Game 1 of the Finals. Detroit had the Spurs down 17-4 and Robinson came in and played some great defense to shut them down. In only six minutes he blocked three shots and grabbed three boards that game. The Spurs comeback started the second he checked in, and in that stint the team was +11. His defense in that stretch could very well have been the difference between a championship and a painful loss to a really great Pistons team. Dude earned that ring, and I'll never forget when he checked in and righted the ship.

Maybe in the grand Karmatic scheme of things, in the playoffs Kawhi drives hard to the basket only to be fouled very hard by Pau knocking Kawhi out of the playoffs.

Maybe the Spurs are making room for Lebron James in the off chance he's bought out by Lakers by midnight.

Just a simple question, does anyone of you have a single Pau moment? like seriously one good highlight of his tenure?
Yeah, lots of re ed autistic screams, someone should do a video with all of them, and maybe put the impressive ones over a beat using autotune.

I remember he was also big in a few games against the Nuggets in the first round. Loved what he provided the Spurs during that playoff run. He helped the Spurs win 2 or 3 games total during the playoffs which is a bargain for an over the hill vet.

The Spurs opened up a roster spot on Friday by reaching a buyout agreement with Pau Gasol, and Jabari Young of The San Antonio Express-News reports that the team has been looking at available players on the free agent market to fill that spot.

Sources tell Young that the Spurs would prefer to add a defensive-minded player, since they’ve had some issues on that side of the ball this season.

Yet, they waited until virtually the last second to buy Pau out so they gave themselves no leeway to sign a replacement. Another Case in point that Spurs did this buy out for the sake of Gasol, not the Spurs.

Forbes’ eFG% is 3 points higher this year than Melo’s career high. Even matching Melo’s career high TS% despite not getting to the line.

Somehow, Melo’s usage rate has still been high the past three years. He’ll never learn the league left him years ago and he’s never been able to break out of his inefficiencies unless playing for Team USA.

Maybe the Spurs are making room for Lebron James in the off chance he's bought out by Lakers by midnight.
If he wants to keep that playoff streak alive, he’d have a much better shot in SA than LA!

    Wow

    Such disrespect here.

Pau was definitely on his last legs - but a little respect would be warranted.
    Show some class.

    Pau -

thanks for being a classy and respectful Spur. Unlike Kawhi - you at least showed respect.

    About damn time..Love it.

Gasol signing and subsequent loyalty extension is hands down the worst and most useless contract ever given by this front office..Just a simple question, does anyone of you have a single Pau moment? like seriously one good highlight of his tenure?

One of the most forgettable and empty passages by a star player (or formerly so) in Spurs history.
Hold on just a minute. Remember that time Pau ... Well, what about that other time when he ...

    Aww it, never mind.
