-Giving Pau that contract extension. This one was so bad that we are still paying the man to play for another team.
-Overpaying for Mills.
-Not signing a defensive minded wing.
-The Kawhi trade (DeRozan will have to play like he did against the Warriors for the entirety of his contract to change this fact. Especially in the playoffs. One or two regular season games here and there aren't going to cut it)
And some other things, which are things that many fans were asking for months in advance and Pop finally did it:
-Giving White a bigger role (he still needs to have an even bigger role, imho).
-Giving Bertans a bigger role.
-Stop playing scrubs like Cunningham and Pondexter.
-Stop giving token minutes to Gasol.
PATFO did things that some people in this site were asking for, but somehow those people are "clowns". slurping reasoning, tbh.

the gasol/mills contracts were terrible from day 1 (patty still on the books for 2 more full seasons after this one), and the playing time given to scrubs (mainly cunningham, i dont think pondexter was ever a regular) at the expense of white/bertans was just being stubborn.
he would pull bertans/white after any mistake but had no problem playing cunningham 20 mpg for the first 2 months

yeah, houston will be naturally declining as well. it's up for grabs. ideally lonnie earns a rotation spot next season. would be such a boon to add an athletic, non-midget perimeter player.
we'll have access to the full MLE of about 9 mil, the smaller bi-annual exception, and be able to re-sign gay with early bird rights
