Old Testament Law was given to the nation of Israel, not Christians. I can still quote the Old Testament if I want to when I think it's relevant.
You are the one working deceit on that which you have no knowledge.

"Cherry picking, suppressing evidence, or the fallacy of incomplete evidence is the act of pointing to individual cases or data that seem to confirm a particular position while ignoring a significant portion of related cases or data that may contradict that position."

What gets me is why does anyone try to battle the realties of Islam? Just read the Quran, there it all is.
The HUGE/MASSIVE difference in the Bible/Christians vs Quran/Mulims is the first gang know....different world way back then. That second gang think all that old applies to right now.
The first gang cherry picks from the old
Blake is still confused after an Atheist and a Christian have explained everything clearly and concisely.
"Fools have no interest in understanding; they only want to air their own opinions. Doing wrong leads to disgrace, and scandalous behavior brings contempt."
-Proverbs 18:2-3
They understand your cherry picking explicitly.
The true and absolute word of god is applicable only when you feel like it.
^looks like Blake isn't the only one who is confused

I understand completely. You can pick and choose when to follow the word of God.
You can pick and choose to whom you think God was talking by yourself.
That's all.
We were talking about Old Testament Law not the entire Old Testament.
Try to keep up please.
You have decided the word of God doesn't apply to you.
That's all.
This is you tapping out.
No, it's right there in the quote.
Sorry. If you didn't mean it, you shouldn't have posted it.
See How I talk about Islam/Muslims while you talk posters?
Pavlov, what really is wrong with you?
Another perfect example of cherry picking from the Old Testament. Thx
See how you're talking about pavlov
That was quoted from Wikipedia![]()
It's referring to Christians from all around the world since around 200 A.D. Even back then they understood the contradictory problems between OT and NT so they went full supersessionism.
I'm talking today's American Christians like fake Christian Chris.
Actually on rereading this, i flip my statement on it being wrong.
Lol Chris agrees with it
You said it was wrong then accused me of being ignorant
There's no such as a fake Christian. If you believe in Christ you're a Christian. You don't need to be a good person, be consistent, be correct. Just believe in Christ and you're all set.
The real issue is that any monotheistic or theistic religion is a sham. Religion is a self help method people use when they cannot cope with mortality and life in general. Being a real Christian is no better than being a fake one as long as it helps the user. They aren't getting anything else from it.
James 2:17
Still a Christian, since they believe you get to heaven based not on works but through the grace of God. Christian doesn't mean heaven bound. You can be Christian and live in pure sin constantly. Christian just means you believe in Jesus Christ as the son of God.
the point being you must not have true faith if you're not putting in the work.
But that's just another example of how the Bible is in constant contraction of itself. It always comes back to "Christians" cherry picking the good stuff and ignoring the bad.
"belief only" Christians sound like Delmar "going down to the river" in O Brother.
I read one so-called pro-death-penalty Christian justifying executing innocent prisoners, because innocent Christ was also killed in error.
An innocent person getting the death penalty just has to trust it's all part of God's plan
