This team lacks an attacking mentality and BBIQ. We are constantly losing guys on defense and it takes a miracle to get the guys to lock in on either side of the ball for more than a 2-min stretch.

There's like 4 games left in the season and Pop had to take a timeout 1 minute into the game because the guys came out lethargic and unfocused.

Our starting 2-guard is a devout Crip. Lol

We just don't have it mentally.

Good news is that Dejounte White Walker should be pretty lit next year.
Not with Mills and Forbes eating up the minutes. Those 2 dudes don’t even belong in the NBA under its current environment

Forbes will be a good Steve Kerr for us if some dumbasses in probably Orlando don't jump up and down to overpay him.

I had the Nuggets by 25 and posted that in this thread. I gave them too much credit, tbh.

TF?! Kerr would outplay him now lol. Forbes at best could be 2013 Gary "I can't guard dudes without shoes" Neal

I would rather have Stephen Jackson leave the set of Undisputed and put on a Spurs jersey than have Forbes on the active roster

    At least Poeltl started lol

Dang so pop got tossed early? I missed the game but man that's actually surprising. Usually it's like a way to show his team that If they aren't going to show up then he won't be there either. But after our 9 game winning streak we have gotten extremely bad.

Lonnie Walker and DMo in the SL.
Well, regarding this, Becky did say this of LW4 in her postgame interview, that his atheticsim definitely stands out which is impressive, but there's expectation that in the Summer League, he will be showcased, and are looking to see him to take the next step up in his development. Sounds like they are high on him, but I hope that he doesn't disappoint.

    Yall wildin'.

Forbes, like Patty, is asked to do too much due to roster problems and he has done much better than we could have expected or even hoped.

Teach White to shoot more often instead of trying to go 5/6 FGA every game, bring back Dejounte and pray he has developed a serviceable jumper, give Lonnie lots of burn, and hope for the best. Forbes can take the role he should be in: just hit threes when asked to.

One of our real problems is a lack of on-court leadership. We will go into next season, as we did this season, counting on Dejounte to be the emotional center and leader of the team, so that will be interesting. We just know for fact LA and Demar can't lead.

Well Walker is legit so there goes Forbes minutes next year.

Poindexter and Cunningham are gone next year maybe one picks up a clip board on Spurs staff

Like Poodle but I am still bringing over Nikola this summer.

Always liked Bert do not think Pop is using him right could see Poop and RC adding him in a draft day trade with Boston.

DEROZZ just doesn’t fit with this team have no problems trading him for the right player.

My guys....do what I did last year and bet heavily against the Spurs, give the points tbh. I made a damn good amount betting against them in the playoffs.

They'll be locked into the 8th seed after losing to the Wiz on Friday (pretty sure it will be at WAS instead of CLE but they'll lose one of those for sure)...

Lines should open up around GSW -7.5 in Game 1 and that is easy ing money. The only game I think the Spurs would cover would be Game 3 at home...

This is a team that has quit outright on their coach and has no desire/business being in the playoffs.

Back to 8th. Can't see us moving back up to 7th at this point. OKC isn't going to keep losing. They already had their cold streak. We missed our chance.

You know it really doesn't make any difference, right? Other than the fact that we just don't want to lose to GSW - again.

Getting those to home playoff games contributes a chunk to the Spurs' bottom line for the year. Dropping to 8th means one better draft pick. And tonight's disaster had to have convinced you that there's no way they would have won a series against Denver anyway.

Sounds about right...sad , but true. When we dropped the Kings game I figured '8the seed here we come.' If OKC loses to Houston and we win out......maybe 7th, but I doubt we win out.

Yes, I was just stating the facts. I respect and enjoy watching Denver more than Golden Showers, so I would've preferred a series with them.

You guys thinking that Walker is going to get some major minutes next season are in for some bad times.

White wasn't going to get more than 15 minutes a game this year without the Murray injury despite deserving twice that.

Forbes and Mills are made men.

Pop would rather campaign for Trump than bench Mills. And Forbes isn't far behind. Add in DeRozan and trash defense Marco and of course a healthy Murray ... And Walker will be back to getting over himself in the g-league. He'll still be 21 in 20/21 after Forbes and Marco's deals are up, and if he's lucky, they won't be getting new 4/50 culture deals like Mills.

The only hopes are some dumb team making a dumb offer for an expiring Forbes ... Or just hoping for injuries up and down the guards like Mills, Forbes and Marco. But those guys are basically iron men.

Lonnie looks like he’s getting comfortable hitting the 3’s. I’d be happy if he takes Forbes’ minutes. The guy is just liability on defense, compounded more when playing with Mills/Belli.

No doubt he should - at the very least - move ahead of Forbes. That's not going to happen though. Pop will play them together if he has to.

After all, " it wouldn't be fair " to Bryn would it?
