Even more reason why we need to get rid of LMA and DDR... we need to start rebuilding with winners... These ppl are career losers that are old and selfish... What's the point of keeping them? An early playoff exit every year with zero growth?

He's got a dad who seems to be a real stand-up guy. He's the one who stressed hard work and unselfish play. I read his comments about Derrick getting drafted by the Spurs. At the time Kawhi was on the team, and his dad was talking about how if Derrick patterned his routine and work habits after Kawhi in becoming a two-way player, it would help the Spurs become a better team.
I know money changes people, but I don't think his dad will be pushing Derrick into the same kind of bull Kawhi's uncle did.

Kyle Anderson's family had a similar reaction, but got pissed when there wasn't even a basic shirt with his name on it for sale in the arena. Of course White is much better, but let's hope the Spurs don't blow it again.

Actually, I was overseas and didn't keep up the way I normally would. But I know that Anderson got an offer that they Spurs couldn't match, and it wasn't because of a damn shirt.
PATFO is gonna need to trade Murray or DeRozan this off-season. Personally I'd prefer they dumped DeRozan (and LMA).
His family did comment that they felt disrespected about Anderson in general, like he was an afterthought.

Derrick White is a beast - he needs to stay aggressive the rest of the series and honestly he should take more jump shots/threes when Denver makes the adjustment next game

Watching him play, his impact on the floor is like Many, making huge impact with his plays and swinging the momentum.
But stylistically, he's the polar opposite. Where Manu makes risky and unorthodox plays, White plays so by the book and methodically dissects the defence.
Great game for the young'un. Hoping he has many more like that. Very aggressive yet under control.
That's all we need to know!
The young man all season has been our most important player. Hopefully he will be ready for the adjustments Denver has next few games
