I never got the Kobe to Jordan comparisons. Jordan took much better shots and made half or more of them. Kobe was a bricklayer that figured if you shoot enough you will make some.

Noone overrates Kirby more than young players that grew up idolizing him, tbh.
So Kobe's generation overrated MJ? Is that how this works?

This again? Kobe's teammates (the likes of Chris Mihm, Kwame Brown, Smush Parker, Puke Walton, etc ) ROUTINELY gave the ball to him with 2-3 seconds left on the clock. Sometimes he made them, sometimes not. But I'd say Kobe made more difficult shots than most legends, including Jordan. He didn't GAF about his percentages either.

Kellerman obviously did do it for shock value and not because he's a great basketball mind. He did it to fire up all the re s who will think it's blasphemous because of corny, irrelevant like "mamba mentality"...but he's actually right in this case even if he's coming from a place of shock value and not knowledge. Numbers don't lie. No amount of scowls and underbites will change those numbers.

Kawhi has re mentality. He's going to paint by the numbers every single time, and it's going to look the same every single time.

That's when he's not nursing his pussy.

I dislike Kobe but despise the quitter that is KL. Go Sixers. Kobe never would have quit.
Let’s not change history now shall we? 2004, game 7 vs Suns, parking lot, retirement tour. He quit on his team multiple times.

I'm gonna politely drop this right here:

Real NBA players know. Don't be listening to mainstream media and jealous farmers with fatass girlfriends
No coincidence ex players are generally horrible GMs and coaches. Now think of he ones who couldn’t even be dumb enough to be one.

well considering kobe is, according to most meaningful metrics, among the 3 worst clutch performers of all time, i'd say that's a fair assessment.

yeah i guess that's the appeal.. that the shots he made were difficult. But skill is about making things easy for yourself an minimising luck. Kobe was all about getting lucky an extremely small amount of times and advertising them hard.

So lemme see here, Kobe has to pass the ball to his ty teammates, or be called a ball hog...or the alternative...he passes it, they ineptly fart around for 21 seconds, then pass it to Kobe and expect him to hit every last second shot to bail their sorry asses out? Wow.

I didn't know Kobe controlled what ty players Cupcake brought in and when he got the ball back from these great teammates, he is expected to make something happen Every. Single. Time? Got it.

    Kobe is over rated.

He killed the Laker franchise and the best player of the last 20 years can't revive it.

No one has left more in his wake than Kobe.

Pissed off Laker fans mad that the Spurs still winning even after losing a top 5 player and can't even have ONE winning seasons since their RAPIST ed their zombie corpse of a franchise.

that's so random... you have probably 50 players more clutch than Kobe.. why isolating Kiwi ? Kawhi is more clutch than Jordan would have been at least contraversional

In 2005, the year the Lakers missed the playoffs, Mihm averaged 24.9mpg, Kwame and Parker weren't yet on the team, Walton averaged 12.6mpg.

    So quit your crap.
