And California's aren't equally bad?
lowry is too old, gasol is pretty much their bogut pre-KD GS, only siakam is the other all star caliber player. why would he stay with that team unless he likes being king in the north. maybe they can lure butler or tobias to join after they lose to the bucks![]()
And California's aren't equally bad?
And 3 of the biggest bellwether states, while they do have state income taxes, they are the 3 lowest out of all states that do have state income taxes.
Pennsylvania: 3.75%
Ohio: 4%
Michigan: 4.25%
All flat taxes. No local taxes unless you live in Center City, Philadelphia area.
All other states have much higher marginal SALT taxes, ranging up to 13% in Cali and NYC.
One caveat to the Trump red state/blue state argument: Wisconsin does have high state income taxes (close to 8% for anyone with a decent salary) and was a bellwether that went for Trump. North Carolina, which I'd consider a red state, has the highest flat income tax of 6%.
We will all find out soon enough

I asked Kobe to get in Kawhi’s ear. Oops.

We got bron.
when many thought we had no shot ....
but I agree not hopeful.
OTOH Aldridge was the only FA I sorta wanted (i didnt want PG13 at max dollars because of health/overrated but he proved me wrong)
so glad we struck out on the Melo (first time), dwight, and freaking greg monroe
sometimes dudes save you from yourselves
Y'all got Lebron because he was more interested in building his business interests and media empire than winning a championship. Let's be real here.
Doesnt matter.
in fact that helps us long-term.
We can suck have mickey mouse FO and still get a marquee FA ...
you dont think down the road some other star will choose the same? Maybe not this class but bron is laying down the blueprint
I even said it thsi summer it may be more like gretzky going to Kings than shaq going to Lakers
Bron was just to make us viable stabilize us
Unfortunately Magic, pelinka rich paul and Jeannie buss ruined all of that ...
Sure, once the show that is the current Lakers' FO is gone and stable management takes over the Lakers are bound to get some big name players, but in the meantime y'all are stuck with the sandwich.
Yup i been eating them too
its freaking depressing
You got LeBron for his retirement tour after he gave up on winning any more rings. Kawhi is in a totally different situation.
Never said we getting Kawhi
When I say "peak Odom", I mean the Miami Heat version.
Pretty obvious my comment had nothing to do with NBA players desires, tbh.
He was on the Heat for 1 ing year, lol. 4th best player after Wade, Butler, and Alston that year.
Maybe, maybe you can argue his "peak" was the first 10 or so years he spent rotting with the Clippers.
People are laughing at Canada's taxes because the conversation is about Kawhi staying in Toronto you dip . So unless you think Kawhi gives two s about the poverty level in Canada, what the are you talking about?
so when you say peak odom you aren talking about peak odom
I don't know Killa...right now the Lakers look like the best LA option for him and Uncle Dennis![]()
We will see
I want him on the Lakers (of course)
I hope this season reminds everyone though why you need to superteam it up or wait out state
they lose KD and finish off Rox
you will not beat them anytime soon ...
Clippers have tons of cap space and a hole at small forward. I guess since Lebron's lost speed he's a PF now? I still think that would be a conflict especially when teams like the Nuggets, Blazers, Spurs etc decide to play 2 bigs at a time. Don't see Lebron holding up down low against a Millsap, Jokic, Nurkic.
Not sure how Kawhi and Lebron can play on the same team. Both needs the ball in their hands. Neither of them are great at off ball roles and neither are great at nor should be spot up shooters.
Same said about Wade
Oi Paulito. You can get an endorsement living anywhere.
