And after all these rumors for 2 years about #2 and LA, he better book his flight out there ASAP when his season is over. Toronto can't put anyone around him whatsoever since nobody wants to be in Toronto outside of the dude they traded to get #2. So I can't see how they have any chance to re-sign the man. Clippers will put on the full court press to get him. No way he wants to be a part of that dog in Laker Land.

Again, unless something drastic changes, even with more TOR talent around him, Kawhi won’t make it any further than DeRozan did (and may flame out even worse than DeRozan’s team did in the ECF).
I know Kawhi has been great, and not saying its all on him, but he had help in game 1 and couldn’t get it done. Game 2, he scored more efficiently but team couldn’t get it done.
But you dont blow up a team and give up talent/picks with the hope of just getting to where you have before. If Kawhi leaves, it will be tough sledding.
Spurs offense was not the problem. While you may not like it, Spurs offense was amongst the top in the league even with it being “behind the times”.
It was the defense that was the fatal flaw.
