Doc Rivers has been fined for tampering because of his praise for Kawhi on ESPN last Tuesday.

Oh, get serious. Leonard was never Parker's babysitter. If Parker screws up talking to the media, it's all on him, and he can take his lumps. That's especially when he tried to play "Dr. Parker" with his "injury diagnosis" and praise himself for his recovery. Parker's main problem was that he came across as an egotistical jerk.
While timvp has intimated that he has inside knowledge of what happened in the nephew saga which he can’t reveal since it would result in his losing his relationships it would be nice if he could just say true or false or partially true when these stories come out based on what his sources have told him.
Nephew playing like Jordan reincarnated against GS. Goes out with a sprained ankle and Spurs make no effort to get him back in the rest of the series. He goes to China, won’t communicate with the Spurs, comes back a cripple with a thigh injury and sits out until his shoe deal promotion comes up. Give me a ing break.

2. He’s provided no communication to the Sours.
3. Returns to SA and is inactive for the first 27 games from Oct 18 to Dec 9.
4 Begins game one on one or two game off play initially 20 minutes or less works his way up to 28-31 minutes, only once two games consectutive. Never a back to back.
5. Shuts it down completely Jan 15, disappears to NY never to return except for the team picture (a real collectors item) although several times saying he’s nearly ready, jerking the Spurs and his teammates chains.

Look at the Spur’s load management up until Kwitter disappeared to NY. Torontos getting all this praise for incredible load management. Kwitter had other issues and agenda, wanted to go home and be a big star and the MAN so he could have fun.
So yeah Parker’s injury was worse. Yeah his teammates were undoubtedly majorly pissed at him, battling their asses off to get the playoffs while Kwitter’s group was throwing shade on the Spurs because he was an unprofessional. So Parker said he was more injured. Big ing deal. The truth gave the group a BS line to hide behind. I’m willing to bet the big 3 really think Kwitter is a complete asshole.

Honestly over the years (if the real situation wasn't just 2017-2018) I do remember Duncan saying things like "to be honest, I don't really know what Kawhi is like, we don't really talk about anything non-basketball."

The last game he played for the Spurs was on Jan 13, 2018 against the Nuggets. For the Hawks game on the 15th he was on the injury report as,

That Day-To-Day turned into a lot of days, because, as we now know, he was gone.
But not forgotten.
