This is what matters the most?
No, but just goes to show how amazing DRob was and how many people dismiss him and prop Kawhi up like he was in fact the second coming of Jordan. Robinson needed Duncan to win his first le, yes, but so did Kawhi. And he also needed a miracle last second shot against the Sixers plus a seriously hobbled Warrior team to win his 2nd along with VanVleet's clutch shooting and Lowry's crazy start to that Game 6.

Amazing how much lined up for Leonard. Just a healthy Warrior team and he loses.. if Klay stayed upright last night they are playing on Sunday winner take all..

They were great in the regular season and folded in the playoffs every year.
Dude that is because the players they had sucked
    Besides David
They scouted the spurs in playoffs and the bad players played bad during regular season

Prime DRob was a better all around player than Prime TD. Really, though, TD was a PF.

    Top C's all-time:

    Wilt
    Kareem
    Shaq (motivated)
    Dream
    Admiral
    Russell (prehistoric)
    Ewing
    Walton
    Malone
    Mikan (mythical)

These fools better put some respect on my guys name!!! David carries subpar teams for most of his career and put up monster numbers doing it. Still to this day one of the 50 best players of all time !

GTFOH, he had to carry a bunch of scrubs for most of his career. Give him TD's squad and he would've had 5 rings too, tbh.
    Agreed!

DRob is the player which leads me to support the Spurs, but I would said he is not at the top most tier of players. Probably the 1.5 tier, he has the ability but he lacked the ultra fiery compe ive drive. This is probably due to his gentlemanly character.

Kawhi will never have a 71 pt game and a quadruple double, end of story.
Kobe Bryant is the goat right?

That would have to be Wilt with his 100pts or 55 rebounds, which would almost nvr be topped.

D-Rob is my favorite spurs player. He laid the foundation for what the spurs are today imo.

2nd tier? I'll beg to differ man. Other than Hakeem I'll be interested to know who can match drob at his peak. Not even Shaq, he didn't ring until he had Kobe and Phil Jackson.
I love Hakeem, but he didn’t ring either until Jordan made a baseball hiatus, and he got another all-star Clyde with him plus some pretty good role players, Maxwell, Elie, The Jet, etc. DRob had out of his prime mings, or Rodman who was not really an offensive player. So it’s not a fair comparison.

robinson never had teams as compe ive as the duncan era or that of the '19 raptors. he was a lone wolf out there surrounded by role players for most of his career. in today's game he'd beast at center and would've probably developed a 3 pt shot.

Yes, I agree with you about DRob in Timmy’s place. But if we engage in such speculation, the more interesting question might be, “How well would all those scrubby 80’s and 90’s teams of DRob’s have done with Tim instead?”

The Anthony Davis of the 90's tbh almost exact career, except AD let it be known he wasn't okay with a surrounding cast. LeBron will be his Duncan

The player comparison is apt. But a more precise analogy would be for AD to remain in NO and Zion to become his Duncan.

Admiral was a physical specimen in his prime. He would tear this league a new asshole, tbh.
he was basically Durant before the injuries hit hard

let's see if Durant is even Durant anymore after this though tbh

Zion isn't going to be backing down guys in the 4-down alignment like Duncan... he is 6'7", not 7 feet

That wasn't really Duncan's game as a young athlete, either. However, I was talking more about situations and senior vs junior partners and which joined which.

I do think that winning did NOT mean to him what it did to Duncan. David struck me as

"Yeah Life is good, I play ball for millions of dollars, God is Great" and all that.. But for Tim if he left the league ringless he was going to be pretty ing miserable about it..

Who are "all these guys," and what exactly are they saying? Because I have no idea what you're talking about.
