Using the word "trade" is such a poor word to use when we're in these high-tension times during the off season. I bet this rando is correct

I hope this S&T is true and we go out and get Milutinov or another SF/PF.

Maybe PATFO saw enough from Lonnie in SL to part with Marco. That would explain the timing in my opinion, tbh.

thats what i thought too initially but the comment about the MLE makes no sense if thats the case. maybe Sean Marks is doing the spurs a solid tbh

Wait, trade? The Spurs don't save any MLE money switching from 2-year, $12 million to 3-year, $21 million. They actually lose money.

Sign and trade incoming and then another signing with the MLE?????

i wonder if they are targeting Morris? no real rumors about him, he laughed at the idea of going to LA and doesnt seem like he's returning to Boston. he also re-tweeted spurs summer league articles (about t-rob) twice recently...

    Probably.

Loyalty extension due to that yellow getup Carroll wore the other day.

Seems like the Spurs MO these days...Player who never had any real links to the Spurs agrees to sign and he's already deserving of a loyalty deal...

    I've lost track, tbh.

But if it's a sign-and-trade, safe to say it's either Belinelli or Bertans. Hopefully Belinelli but quick math says more likely Bertans.

Pop & RC prepping for a 3 Peat instead of back to back by extending DC contract to 3 years. Word is they are deploying Robertus Javtokis to the front lines here and thats a game changer jack.

Perhaps the switch was to match whatever salary they could be sending out? Not to mention the third year could always be partially or fully unguaranteed.
