This team is looking pretty deep.
Because:
- Marcus have the body to defend and play 3 to 5.
- Is a sign that nobody thought was possible after the news of Demarre and Cap Space.
- Increase line up flexibility.
- Proved player with playoff experience.
- Average 3pt shooter.
We know now Spurs are not going to play big and we are going to see a different Spurs this year.
They are.... I am a little worried about scoring and figuring out a guard rotation that keeps people happy but should be decent. Please though pop unless there is a 25 point deficit one way or the other Mills, Forbes and Marco shall never share the floor. I can just see the bigs looking at each other and saying why should we go to the other end of the floor.

MM was ranked pretty high for available free agents this off season; he should be cool for us.
We've been crying all year about getting a legit SF that has some size. We finally got it. A decent player at a good price. Also contract length is good.
With the players that were available, i think this is a darn good pick up.

It's a good signing because last year's team outside of White had no defensive stoppers. You add him,Carroll,Murray to the mix and helps to strengthen the defense which was a huge problem last year. They were too many games last year where the Spurs had to be perfect on offense due to not being able to get defensive stops.

Value is value. Imagine this scenario: Danny Green comes back and signs a 4 year deal at 3 mill per year. Spurs fans would be excited.
Now imagine Green comes back and signs a 4 year max deal. We wouldn't have the same enthusiasm
Exactly. With DJ being healthy and Morris on the team the defense will be way better.
Just imagine having Murray and Morris vs Denver in game 7..then tell me who would win that game.
Even though i usually disagree with op i have to agree on this one.
It's really that simple. there would be no game 7 if we had Morris or Murray because we would have swept them.
