We've never made the mental illness excuse for Islamic terrorists, even once. From what I've seen, neither of this week's assholes was/is mentally ill. One was a radicalized white supremacist and another was an angry loser.
Now some guys like Adam Lanza were clearly mental cases, but it's a cop out to say they all are.

You have your psycho schitzos, but there are certainly mental health realities for even the angry incel who's been unsocialized. Those guys may have the wherewithal to plan and execute a strategic attack, but it doesn't mean they're right in the head.
