Yeesh...don't even get any of those Eastern Conference cupcakes. That is one of a stretch.

Jesus Christ, they also have another 5-game road stretch later in the year, also against all West teams.
Only 10 total back-to-backs, below the league average...but 14/20 matches are on the road.
Back-to-Backs:
10/31 - @ Clippers
11/1 - @ Warriors
11/15 - @Orlando
11/16 - Portland
11/22 - @ Philly
11/23 - @ New York
1/26 - Toronto
1/26 - @ Chicago
2/3 - @ Clippers
2/4 - @ Lakers
3/2 - @ Indiana
3/3 - @ Charlotte
3/13 - Denver
3/14 - Minnesota
3/26 - @ Minnesota
3/27 - @ Denver
4/7 - Sacramento
4/8 - @ Houston
4/12 - Houston
4/13 - @ Indiana
They announced Manu's on October 30th last year
damn no respect for the demar & LA core![]()
Spurs 9th in miles traveled.
How the are we in the middle of the country and still end up traveling more than the Lakers, Clippers, or Warriors?

When I first saw schedule thought for sure that Oct 31 game against LAC would be on TNT
Spurs look like they got boned at first glance. Tons of road games 2nd half of the year, lot’s of that vs West teams and only one stretch of home games with 4 in a row (other than that, no long home stretch) all season despite 4 stretches of 4 games in a row on the road in the season?
Sorry for you, man. I doubt I would watch half their games if I couldn’t get Sean and Bill.
Full court screw-the-Spurs time.
well the clippers dont have to travel much for 12 of their games.
They don't seem to mind. It's practically become a part of their brand at this point . . . that and being completely irrelevant.
Given their continuity, depth and early schedule, they'll probably get off to a quick start, which will give the media their latest chance to pretend "Pop has done it again", when they cue up the 5 minutes of mid season attention this team will receive before crashing back down to earth.
Fair enough...meanwhile, Spurs have to travel like 500 miles just to get out of Texas.
Uh, spurs fans outside the San Antonio area.
We're far from clusters of teams which is far more beneficial. The Lakers literally have several road games where the travel is zero, for instance. They probably group their travel to the NE way more than we do as well.
Will always have more road games in 2nd half of the year due to RRT
The bottom line is that with the West as stacked as it is, there will simply be a ton of stretches that are very very tough. The NBA has to do something about the conferences being so uneven. There will be 3 or 4 teams in the west who don't make the playoffs and are better than everyone but a handful of East teams.
Its gonna be brutal this year. I mean, thats probably why they made the start times earlier. So much of the NBA's talent is out west they have to make sure people on the East Coast get to watch the games more.
With TD on the bench I’m considering league pass...
It’s not the number, it’s how many are in a row for long stretches. You would think you would see equally long home stretches but you don’t. It’s only 2 home, then multiple away pretty much the entire season.
Like I said, the longest home streak is 4 games and that is only once all year. Compared to 4 times where there are 4 away games in a row.
Not to mention, how difficult the 2nd half is compared to the first half. If Spurs don’t come out strong first half of the season they playoffs are in big trouble.
Forged by fire. I like it. A real test of leadership for Demar (god save us) and for Dejounte as well. I think he will bridge the younger generation with the older one. This team will go through to make the playoffs and that will only make us that much stronger. We will be a team to reckon with... or a team that completely falls apart bc of the seriously brutal schedule. Either or![]()
I’m personally fine with the lack of televised games. The less I have to hear of CWebb, Reggie etc going on their anti spurs nonsense, the better. And just the unintelligent broadcasting crew (ESPN, TNT, ABC) in general.
Brutal ass schedule though. Gonna be a year where Pop has to rely more on Samanic, KJ, weatherspoon to play and not give them the complete Austin treatment.
Not even a big deal these days, tbh.
No, they'll get the treatment.
Better value on the NBA League Pass. Also Spurs always have been under the radar. Is it something new? I like our chances and better for our young core not to be over televised and get easily scouted. By mid-season Spurs would’ve won more games and catch the league by surprise. Less exposure works for Spurs’ low profile tbh.
the only thing I like about this is the start of the season. We get both LA teams and the Dubs early. They don't know how to play together yet and it will take some games for them to figure it out, hope Spurs take advantage of that and start strong. That will be key
