His inglorious bas character was very mary sue-ish, tbh.
When did I state or imply that I watched the movie, blake's cousin?
His inglorious bas character was very mary sue-ish, tbh.
The wages of incest wrought bitter fruit...
& sometimes after 30 minutes one still hasn't found it.
Try (tubi)---you'll never look back.
The Curse of Llorona-3/5- Seen worse, seen better, still some decent "scares" for a PG-13 horror movie.
---The Lost Capone---
The final 10 minutes as Eric Roberts, once & again shows up...
It's at the 1:20 mark.
The Last Black Man in San Francisco
Really enjoyed it - probably the best thing I've watched this year -
The neighborhood dudes talking were hilarious - and of course - San Francisco always evokes the spectrum of emotion if you have spent time there and have an affinity for it.
^where Dale stole his from instead of getting his own
Soon
Teen Spirit-3/5- Elle Fanning is a star tbh, does her own singing and is pretty damn good but the movie itself is mediocre despite her carrying it.
Bright Burn-3/5-Not terrible, Having it be R rated was a good decision because it was darker than I expected it to be. Still thought the acting could've been better.
We Need To Talk About Kevin-4/5-Very well acted and directed movie about a Mom raising a psychopath. Its a slow burn but a great watch that holds interest.
Dark Phoenix-3/5-Fassbender saves this movie from being Venom level bad or the remake of Fantastic 4- his Magneto is arguably the best villain in comic book movie history tbh. Sketchy CGI, poor writing and the movie feels weirdly emotionless.
Felt doomed from the start, they re-shot a third of the movie after it got laughed at during a test screening. Still ended up pretty bad.
Anti-Christ = not sure wtf i watched tbh so ???
The House Jack Built = 1/10
i am not into violence against children or gore and both these movies, by the same director, are horrific imo when it comes to children and violence especially THJB. made me sick to my stomach.
Please.
Depp, in court,,,"it ain't me, babe."
Bill Simmons?
It Chapter 1 (reboot) : 8/10
Dark Tower: 5/10
Watched it after reading this and really liked it. A hidden gem for sure.
Really good adaptation from the book too. Tilda and Ezra were really good
Once Upon a Time in Hollywood: maybe just under a 8/10. Cool ode to the 60s by QT.. great characters and love film and tv within a film
It Chapter 2: 5/10 at best... terrible CGI, way too long, not scary or freaky, comedic relief used at times, Bill Hader sucks
Once Upon a Time In Hollywood...6/10. Not a top tier Tarrantino movie. Maybe I expected too much considering this was his best cast, ever.
It 2
It was fine. Bill Hader has some funny lines. But the movie was a little redundant during the part where they each had to go find their memento.
Also appreciated the shot King takes at himself (or allows the director to) with the Bill not being able to write good endings.
I watched Star Trek: The Search for Spock, the other night. I forgot how horrible the special effects were in that movie. Maybe it's amplified watching it on an HD TV, but it was awful. Star Wars, which was made much earlier, had much more slick effects. The HD TV didn't help the acting either. That cast of fossils was propped up for a couple more movies to milk a few more bucks out of the franchise. Doc Brown as the Klingon ship captain...I fully expected him to start looking for the flux capacitor when his ship became disabled...it was Doc Brown with a laser gun...a bad one. William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy were the only reasons to watch that sad assembly.
2.5 out of 10.
John Wick 3
7/10
Like the others, not much plot. Just a bunch of shooting. For some reason I still like this movie.
Was that really Boban that he fought early in the movie? I had no idea he was in it. Great surprise, he did pretty good.

Red Army 7.5/10... really interesting sports doco. Good insight into hockey and I guess sport as a whole during the later parts of the Cold War
i give the second it a 6 outta 10 at best. i love bill hader. movie just felt so ing long. awful ending but i guess that’s more on the story than the movie...
i looked up why the clown doesn’t just kill the losers... it’s apparently because they’re protected by a giant ing turtle in space
it’s in the books but not in the movie. so... it still doesn’t make sense as to why the clown doesn’t just kill them in the movie.
