On the two counts of sale of narcotics, the judge then sentenced her to 12 years, suspended after she serves five years and followed by five years probation. The sentence is to run concurrently with a five-year sentence she received in the Norwalk case.

This doesn't really help the argument about the sentence for the school district related charges.
Actually it is a stronger argument against that penalty.
yep, the punishment for her school district "cheating" to help her kid is separate from the drug case, although her drug business may have derived in desperation from her unemployable status, a blemished record and known as cheater in the community, after "convicted" in the school case.
