Thank you Lakers for giving these casual Spurs fans a reality check that we are not a very good team.

We defended well this game but damn LMA. Did he take a post shot all game? He just didn't care.

White, Murray and gay were good. Everyone else including Pop should get a failing grade today

    Pathetic effort tonight. Embarrassing.
I mean coming back from 19 down is not a pathetic effort.

Give the keys to Murray. He should be option 1 on offense in place of DeRozan.

Bryn has completely sucked tonight too
Yep, bad shooting game. But the whole team was icy most of the night - except D&D and Rudy.

Good news: we've been compe ive against arguably the 2 best teams in the West

Bad news: DeRozan and Aldridge are our "stars," so this is pretty much our ceiling until White and Murray break out

The starters with the exception of Murray were pretty damn pathetic.

How many plays did Poeltl fumble away? He looked like Jeff Ayres out there. Defensively he looked pretty bad too.

On one hand, if the Lakers get contributions like this from KCP and Howard they're probably the best team in the league or at least equal with the Clippers. On the other hand, DeRozan is holding this team back and Pop's rotations make no god damn sense to me.

This Spurs team has the potential to be really good but I'm not sure there's any hope for them to reach their ceiling with the current rotation. There may be no hope of making a role where DeMar does well and doesn't hold back the youth. He should be on the bench, not White.

For me this season all about watching White/Murray's development. Both played fearless along with a lot of effort tonight.

    Aldridge, Forbes, DeRozan = 11/38

    Marco and Mills = 2/10

Only real players were White, Murray and Gay.

And Pop only lets two of those guys on the court at the same time. Too compe ive.

Think PATFO needs way more convincing of that than the fans at this point

Is there a reason why white and dejounte can't be on the court at the same time? But pop will trot out beli-mills. It's like he's throwing games.

We are not quite talented enough.

Too many of our guys are too likely to just randumbly bumble the basketball out of bounds or miss open shots, wasting possessions in tight games.

We're gonna win some games though. And be out the 2nd round.

Looking at Lyles line. He got 4 points, and I guess it came straight out of his rebound column.
He was fine. He got a fast break dunk off a nice pass from Murray and he hit a jumper. I thought his D was solid. Probably deserved more minutes.

Sucks that we lost but was a fairly entertaining game.

Apparently this is the youngest team of the Pop era. Which is a good sign as we can almost hang with the loaded Clippers and Lakers. Not sure LMA and DeRozan will be around, but team could have a bright future.

It's very ing possible that when DJ gets off his minutes restriction White will be sitting on the bench in crunchtime because Poop's gotta Poop smh.
That looks like the big question. Too weird, but who knows.

When Demar is off he hurts the team in so many ways.

Look deeper he impedes the development of the spurs youth. Those guys are missing out on reps because Demar has to dominate the ball.

Rince and repeat. We will have this convo often this season.

Love games where Derozan, LMA, Beli, Mills, Lyles and post 2014 Pop get exposed for the losers they are.

The closer we can get to Dejounte, White, Lonnie + a new coach, the better for this organization.

Need a few more til Pop has no choice but to play those 3 guys, at least I hope since the old is so beyond caring at this point

Having a couple of legit stars on a team lets the role players play a lot looser. That's just fact. Those guys don't have to bail out DDR and Aldridge.
