How about...instead of players making 50 million dollar contracts, they make 30 million dollar contracts. The org can then use that extra 20 mil to offset lower the cost of the damn tickets.

I can't go to the game I live 1300 miles away

but if the Spurs make it to the finals, yeah I'll go to at least one game. I have to ask for time off etc but I'm sure I can get it. Buy a plane ticket and buy an overpriced ticket, but I watching the Spurs play in the finals I can justify the jacked up ticket prices.

I'm not cheap, I'm not a bandwagon fan. I'm broke. I can't afford the gas/parking/ticket to go to the games. Now, I do know A lot of people who won't buy tickets for this series are going to when the finals come and they can't get any. When my dad has season tickets I went to every game preaseason through playoffs. It sucks that spurs fans have gotten spoiled.

Somone's plastic beer cup is not 1 cm from the back of my head. Also, the general populace of SA is not exactly slim, so you end up feeling like you in the middle seat on a 3 hour flight, sitting between two lumberjacks.

to be honest as a Spur fan not living in San Antonio it really pisses me off that Spur fans have excuses not to go to the game. THERE IS NO EXCUSE, tickets are not THAT expensive. I would go into debt and go to playoff games in a second, I would not even think twice about it.

It seems San Antonians would rather go buy beers and tequila than go to a Spur playoff game. It's very pathetic and sad. Let's hope the basketball Gods don't punish us for being spoiled.
