She said the shots taken at one of her kids had something to do with it...but at no point did she say she had given up her political aspirations.
She said that people were making mean comments about Trig, her DS son, but I haven't read or seen anything along those lines. The only thing I remember being remotely related to Trig was that the daughter really had the baby... which was 9 months ago...
IIRC she made it pretty clear it was local(state) politics.
Not to sound smug... but I don't think anything about that presser came off as "pretty clear".

I know whenever I look for advice, the first person I go to is the one that spectacularly failed recently. Because there's no way he can screw it up THAT bad again.
She's the weak link in the GOP and needs to be dumped at the lowest cost possible.
All I know is this:
The new administration is less than 6 months in and this person could have been the Vice President. If something had happened to McCain, today she could be the President of the United States. Scary thought. If she could not handle the past 6 months of her life as it has been, then how on earth could she have ever handled being the VP or President of the US? I think this shows clearly that everyone was right who believed she was not ready or could not handle the job. I love the people making excuses- she can't possibly be a governor and write a book at the same time? Then, she surely can't be President.
