That's the hope I'm sure. He won't be playing many minutes so he should be fresh for the playoffs.
I point out that he looks good because many here think Bogans, Hairston, Williams, and even Haislip should be ahead of him on the depth chart.
I just don't recall him ever grabbing rebounds and bringing the ball up like he was a few times now. Not without dribbling it off his foot or something.

Best Spurs big... for the moment. Though I didn't see Dyess, and I couldn't tell Bogans from RJ, or Theo from Ian.
-TD rusty but appears to mostly be trying to get RJ going.
-RJ moving a lot in the halfcourt sets.
-Manu moving well. Using lots of pick-and-rolls.
-Parker looks fast. He's obviously in pretty good shape. TP surrounded by shooters was dominating for a stretch.
-Hill looking to score. Aggressiveness at a much higher level than last year.
-Blair playing as advertised.
-McDyess a little slow but had nice jumper.
-Bonner actually looking good. Playing very well off Parker.
-Haislip playing power forward and really active.
-Mason doing a lot of ballhandling -- especially in the halfcourt sets. Moving a little better.
-Finley looks like he's in good shape.
-Not too impressed with how Mahinmi is moving.
-Ratliff looking decent.
Second half starting.
Really enjoying this. Team looks fantastic on both ends. Although, I am not used to rooting for both teams.

Spurs have a ton of weapons. So many players, so many different styles of play. Pop's sitting on the bench right now with a big-ass smirk on his face.
