Kobe can't win without Gasol. He got scared out there all alone.
he hurt his back in the first. didnt affect him until after halftime. how many shots did he have in the third?

Lakers bench blows. face it
Kobe could win a couple of regular season games with this unit, but let's get real, a championship???![]()
Props to the Lakers. This win didnt do for me. Spurs are still finding ways to mess up games. If Kobe had stayed the whole game, Spurs would have lost.
George Hill just had him on lock.![]()
I was proud of the Rockets for playing without Yao Ming, of the Spurs for playing without Manu, of the Celtics playing without KG, and of the Magic for playing without Nelson in last years postseason.
oweeeeeeeeeeeee gasol or not that was still sweet
i saw this ending but not under the cir stances it occurred. im worries about the future
.
One of the few games not related to the Bulls that I've actually watched and got to admit it was nice to see the Spurs beat the Lakers. I'm happy for them only because it solidified the Spurs as an elite team despite losing to other "above .500" teams. I wouldn't use the "Kobe wasn't playing in the 4th" excuse as the Spurs were clearly in the lead, I think up by like 10 points prior to Kobe's absence.
It just shows you how powerful and how scary the Spurs can be when their top 3 can get into double digit scoring preferably 20 points from 2 of the 3 as we saw with Duncan and Parker. Duncan as usual with the monster performance of 25 points 13 rebounds. I was surprised to see the Spurs limit the Lakers to just 85 points.
This should be a really good confidence booster for the Spurs as they play their next games. Looks like their defense is back to where it should be and everyone seems to be on the same page and knows what they are doing on the court. Mason was a huge spark off the bench and got the team going. Overall it was a great win for the Spurs and a good one.
I'm certainly not saying that the Lakers weren't short-handed, but let's not take ALL the credit from the Spurs. They looked good tonight.
And they'll be calling his ass a warrior for it.![]()
lol @ Rocket fans beat Charlotte will ya...
Props to the Spurs...they beat us and bad. No excuses. But with a coach at USC, tonight isn't a total loss...
okay, Jeff.
Good game spurs, and if I was a lakers fan, I too would be proud of their performance, but seeing as I am not I want to say something verrry Un-Dude to rub it in their faces. I will not, however.
no joke....the Lakers were getting away with murder all game. Artest was getting cheap whistle after cheap whistle.
Props to Bynum he had a great game.
The Lakers better hope Kobe, Gasol, Artest, Bynum, and Odom are healthy for the post season because outside of those 5 the Lakers aren't very good.
X factor was GHill, player of the game is TP. They both played with intensity which the Spurs sorely needed.
RJ is useless and doesn't fit the Spurs system when he plays with TP.
The Lakers looked like . I have no idea how you could be proud of them.
Lakers did well without their two stars, yes.... nice to see you not use that as an excuse.
Spurs had a great game minus the shaky 10 minutes
Damn Lakers have depth........
At the same time we kind of relaxed at some point.
ThereforeI don't know what to think about this game
Dude, you forgot mason. Man brought it in 1st half. Dice also made some key contributions, rebounds and pts wise. I think pretty everyone made the best with what they were giving except blair but apart from that layup, he wasnt really given min
