Yes. It just came to me that some of these people were overdosing on their meds.![]()
Jerome-o-meter: 19 minutes 4 points 2 rebounds. Ooo. I'm scared.
Back to earth time, Hefty.
Yes. It just came to me that some of these people were overdosing on their meds.![]()
At least we won the 4th qtr, 28 - 24.
A Tale of Two Halves.
Sonics really had some bad breaks with Ray, Rad, and Shard getting hurt.
It could happen to anybody.
Spurs got outscored 46-41 in the second half. Yeah it was dominating, but they were very sloppy after halftime.
Only you, Pooh, could make the giant reach that the Spurs faltered b/c they were outscored by 5 in the second half. If they had only outscored Seattle by 4 in the first, that would be a problem, but it was 30.
So, again, STFU.
Yeah, they might have lost by 18 instead. Again, Seattle was down 18 before Ray Allen got hurt.It was a good win, however just imagine if Allen didn't get hurt.
Read and comprehend.
how much is ray allen gonna talk now that he "sprained his ankle on bowens foot"?
I love Big Dog. Doing alot of work on his own - shots, cardio etc.
He wants this. He is Kevin Willis. He is Danny Ferry.
it was a victory for the spurs, I'm not knocking that, it's just being up by nearly 35 points, and win by 22 when at times the lead was down to under 20 during that second half wasn't a good sign. They need to go out and step on a team that's lost its' key scorer in Allen.
Actually, the Spurs won three of the quarters, two convincingly, to one 9 point quarter win by Seattle. SA only had one bad quarter: the third.
Pull your head out. SA was never up 35. They were up 30 for one possesion, and the lead varied between 18 and 28, ending up at 22.
And he played some D! Chapman was so busy pulling out his one-liner about Robinson's defensive reputation that he missed him bully Rashard Lewis and steal the ball in the first quarter (or was that early in the second?).
They didn't maintain it is what I'm saying. The Spurs seemed content.
Seattle is now wounded. The Spurs need to come out Tuesday and put another 20 plus whipping on them. With or without Allen and Vlad.
In this league it's impossible to maintain a lead like that against a team whose season isn't over.
Pooh, we know what you're saying. Spurs suck, Indy rules, blah blah freakin' blah. Just because your Pacers suck doesn't mean you've got to try and bag on SA.
Big Dogg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Used to play in Millwackee.
Hes gonna hit some big shots for us!
the only reason why it got close is because of the 7 TO's in the 3rd by the Spurs. The theory is proven once again. The only team that can beat the Spurs is the Spurs.
The only thing that the spurs did not do a good job was taking care of the ball-19 Turnovers.
I'm not saying Spurs suck and Indy rules...You're staring too close to the monitor, back away a few feet. Indy is about to get clocked big time by Detroit, but there's nothing I can do about it. I'm not whinning about it either. Indy for one, doesn't suck as you call it. Lets see the Spurs make the playoffs without Duncan gone for 40 games, Parker out for 25 and Manu suspended for a year. Then get back to me.
In the East? No problem. But it'd never happen, the Spurs aren't full of dumbasses like your boys in Indy.Lets see the Spurs make the playoffs without Duncan gone for 40 games, Parker out for 25 and Manu suspended for a year.
Put down the keyboard and walk away Pooh.
19 TO's and we still won by 22.
Wow, they were sayin "I wouldnt wanna be the Spurs in game 2."
I wouldnt wanna be The Sonics in game 2! Spurs will play "better" (as if they played bad, lol).
Nope - not a chance.
BTW, when TNT went live to the post game conf., was that Kori askin Parker that last question?
An ugly win is still a win. But the Spurs lost the domination they had displayed with some very poor play in the second half and the Sonics won't be intimidated by this game. They''ll rationalize that their best scorers were hurt and the Spurs still couldn't increase their lead.
Might have been. I couldn't hear anyone talking to Pop during his conference. At times, most of the reporters mumble out their questions and such.
