I was in awe when Bowen would lock down the best players in the game who were younger, stronger, faster and bigger.
I'd be impressed if Rose figured out how to score against Bron in ISO. Why? Because he's facing a mismatch.

Jag acting like Rose is just some quasi-athletic PG and not the most elite MVP PG in the game is funny. I know you hate Lebron, but if that is not something to celebrate you have a ridiculous standard for Lebron.
Bowen could dunk from the FT line. You just hate Lebron. That's fine, but just don't make dumb arguments like he shouldn't be lauded for locking down the most premier athlete/mvp in the game.
Rose is an athletic freak. But compared to LeBron I don't think he's as athletic when you factor in LeBron's size and strength. They have similar quickness and speed but Lebron is much stronger and larger. Rose is at a disadvantage when matched up with Bron in ISO.
Those are the reasons I expect Bron to be able to force Rose into difficult shots. How Rose matches up with every other defender in the League has nothing to do with how he matches up against Lebron.

Lebron being the best defender in the league deserves to be celebrated IMO. You hate him and penalize him for being big and fast, I don't. There are plenty of big and fast guys that can't be good defenders. You being a Spurs fan should know that. Shutting down the MVP is no small task and if you can't be in awe of that, you shouldn't be in awe of anything IMVHO.

Honest question... Do you ever actually address specific points of an argument, or is your debate-game limited to laughable strawman arguments (Man defense = leading a franchise to a le or multiple les) and accusing your opposition of hating players?

What did you mean to imply with this? When you say Lebron should lock down lightning fast MVP's because he's ultra athletic himself, but then say it was amazing when Bowen did the aforementioned, what did you mean to imply? You weren't trying to say it's impressive for Bowen to do it with a lack of athleticism?

Because of his physical gifts, I expect certain things out of him. Forcing Rose into difficult shots is one of those things.

Thank you. You're missing the point. The fact that he was older and less athletic than those players is what made Bowen so impressive.
You didn't answer the question. Are you going to keep avoiding this? Should locking down the MVP and lightning fast Derrick Rose when typically being a big guy and guarding a smaller guy is incredibly difficult to do be met with credit and applauded?
