tbh, if Kevin Martin keeps playing like this, everybody has a shot at OKC, IMO... Fish was nailing everything tonight, but everybody knows it's fool's gold
Not against Spurs it aint ...

Spurs not making WCF not unless they get Manu and TP close to 100% ...

Yeah Martin is too hit or miss this year. Good game. Spurs competed despite the lack of two top players. Everyone hits the reset button come playoff time though.
which 2 u talkin about? gino and parker? = 2 bags

needed jax out there tonight, more length and defense...fkn green and neal kept on leaving the 3pt shooter open all game...fkn pathetic display from both of them defensively, dont get me started on fastbreaks...

100% they are still inconsistent, only thing both have been consistent with is having ty games and lame excuses from both churches

Spurs largely go as far as Tim takes them, that's the bottom line... I think he looks great out there, the best I've seen him in a long time... let's hope he stays healthy too
Tim will play well but he needs more help then he did in his prime ...Tim is the LEAST of your worries. Your banged up guards will struggle to contain Paul, Conley and Westbrook ... Steph curry etc

ehhh, yeah it is, despite tonight... he was pretty bad this season, against the Spurs (except tonight) and pretty much any other team

Spurs not making WCF not unless they get Manu and TP close to 100% ...
Not sold on that. We will need TP much healthier... but with Denver now having Lawson and Gallo down, a potential 2nd round matchup if we land the #2 seed became much more accessible...

    Welp, bye bye #1 seed
    Not necessarily.

Spurs still hold the #1 seed despite this loss.

If they get their head out of their collective asses they will keep the #1 seed if they play halfway decent.

March was supposed to be their best month, schedule wise and yet they managed to that up badly.

    Spurs can cruise from here.

    ATL
    Denver
    Sacramento
    LA
    Golden State
    Minessota

OKC has a slightly tougher schedule so we'll wait and see how that shakes out.

If Denver won't have Gallo or Lawson, the Spurs can beat them either way.

The only games I see OKC possibly losing are against Indy and Golden State. Wouldn't surprise me to see them win out.

He had a torn planar fascia... what Gasol last injury was, IIRC.

At first they said he might miss some playoff games (http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nba-ba...8814--nba.html), but maybe they'll rush him now that Gallo is out.

Then there's conditioning... depends on how long the 1st round extends, I guess...

So what's the outcome for this season's Thunder? Western Conference Finals, Semisfinals, first round exit, the Finals, or winning it all? I guess the Spurs don't want to have HCA in the Finals. They have always had HCA in the Finals. It would be interesting to see Duncan try to win an NBA championship without HCA in the Finals.

spurs trying to avoid the teams they think they cant win against, in this case it has been historically proven this team is nothing more than a regular season playoff fodder team with the thats on its roster....

Spurs aren't trying to avoid anyone, they're just not playing well. If Pop had sat people out this game then maybe I could see it. I was thinking he was tanking too, but it's obvious he's trying to right the ship before it sinks in the second round again.

the same problem is still there that has been present for the last 2 campaigns...

ive seen enough of the bull thats on this roster that continues to disappear in the playoffs...

Not saying they won't, I'm still not confident they get out of the second round if they face a fully healthy Denver team (not looking good for dem Nuggs tho). However, Pop isn't tanking to avoid any teams, and you said it's historically proven when he does the Spurs lose. This isn't another example of that.

nobody is afraid of the nuggets, with or without injuries they are scaring no one...they should be easy walk for any of the top seeds to either sweep or just dropping one game to them....nuggets are fodder man

If the Spurs don't make it to the Finals this year, does that make them like the Braves of the NBA back when the Braves went to the playoffs for a decade and a half? Or I guess they're not the Braves since the Spurs have won 4 in their long run.

Everyone keeps saying that but I didn't see it (now they are with Gallo done and Ty Lawson hobbled). They match up extremely well with both the Thunder and Spurs. Their lack of a offense when the game slows down is their greatest weakness, but with an undisciplined Thunder team that likes to play at a high pace too and a Spur team that turns it over at a high clip, they could make up for their inability to score in the halfcourt with fastbreak points.

Nah, just means they're too old and don't have the personnel to get it done anymore. Four rings ain't too shabby tbh.
