Well, we did back door sweep them pretty brutally last year; I'd understand if there's some fear ingrained into them from that. Plus losing to a conference rival with their starting point guard out would be pretty funny.
Hey, I ain't judging, it's a economy. I just know if I was I'd rather be out watching the game in some nice cool AC, big ass TV's and ties everywhere, and some good food and wings than be at home.

Living through another team and hoping they do what your team couldn't and then bragging about it as if your team did the dirty work is quite pathetic.
But I understand you need something, anything, to ease the pain of the Lakers being the biggest embarrassment in sports history. So carry on. Better for you to live through the Grizzlies than to eat a bottle of Valium.
Talk to me when the TOSB crew wins a playoff game against a team with a healthy starting line up.
ldn't
This has always confused me, if the team that beats you goes on to win the championship wouldn't that look good on you?
"Hey man, ya'll got your asses handed to you by the Spurs" : "So? They beat the Heat this year for the championship, they were unstoppable this year."
Of course there's always the exception like when it comes to the Heat or Lakers.
dis is da POs u DA...![]()
Lakerfan has a vested interest in the Spurs losing because they don't want Duncan to tie Kirby.
They also have been working overtime trying to deflect the embarrassment of being the most overrated failure in sports history this year onto all other teams, tbh![]()
yeah, they want Achilles: 5 TOSB: 4 to stayPERIOD
Quit yapping , by the time it's all said and done and the season is over, it will still be 16>4.
not our fault your ty team can't do better than 8th seed with a bunch of D leaguers and a joke of a coach... we play whoever shows up
bandwagoning the Grizzlies on pure butthurt
@ 16... gtfo!
Oh, forgot about that. Seems rather petty to me, why wish against someone else's success just to make yourself look better (or favorite player). In my opinion that's what's wrong with the world in general; I don't have to worry about being my best if the guy next to me s up more and makes me look good.
The Heat's trio ing up their first year was a pretty?big up.
Yep. After the Clippers lost, Lakers fans had quite the storm going, saying, "You had 56 wins and got just as far as us!"
Difference was the Clippers didn't lose by an average of 20 points per game, had nowhere near the preseason hype as the biggest failure in sports history, and weren't swept.
They at least made the Finals their first year.... the Lakers spent $100 million, hyped themselves up as a lock for 73 wins and a ring, and proceeded to struggle to get the 7th seed and get faceraped by the Spurs in the first round.... no amount of crying about16, Flop City, TOSB's, etc.
will change the fact that this year's Lakers were the biggest bust in the history of sports, and with Jimbo in charge, it's only getting worse
![]()
You're right, I just try to avoid piling it on; I really don't want to be the cause of some poor Laker fan offing himself.
And the Clippers also got extremely unlucky in having to play a 56-win team in the first round, since it was something like the third time in history that the first five seeds in a conference got 50+ wins, tbh.... either team would have easily swept the Lakers though![]()
Shut up got
Honestly with the amount of progress the Clippers were making this year compared to their recent history I would be pretty crushed that they didn't perform better against Memphis; although don't get me wrong Memphis is an incredibly solid team.
I just want to see what the spurs can do against a good, healthy team which is unknown territory for the spurs this postseason.
Spurfan calling me out when they bandwagonned every team from Phoenix to Miami hoping the Lakers wouldn't make the playoffs this season, starting thread after thread about it![]()
I honestly don't think anyone would of had issues with the Lakers, not even the rockets.
Ring counts, eh? Getting desperate now.
Just own up, son. Your boys got destroyed and are the biggest failure in sports history. And 16 rings do nothing to change that fact.
But it seems you're still in the anger stage of grief. However, it does look like you're moving into the bargaining stage, with your pleas to "dem Bears" to do what your ty team couldn't.
Good to see you making progress.
What's wrong with Golden State?
