Why the would they sign freakin' Soldado? You either sign a world class striker or you don't (or don't sell the best striker in the EPL to your rivals). Arsenal needs more help in the midfield and the back.

And he scored 2 penalties, calm down.

Tottenham has beaten two teams with penalties. Soldado, yet again, didn't have one legit chance on goal and scored off of someone else's effort. While I like the athleticism and size of the Sp*rs midfield, their service and creativity is awful. They are in big trouble without the dynamic presence of Bale. Lamela may make a difference, but he isn't even in the same ballpark as GB. Totts also has the worrying problem of letting off the gas once they get a lead. Both Palace and Swansea were able to get chances once Sp*rs went up a goal.

What I like about Totts is their defense and ability to close people down. They dominated a very good passing team for large swaths of the game and were able to do what they wanted. Paulinho is a boss, btw

Maybe it's all the new players, but they're terrible in the final third. No way are they top four right now. Other than Paulinho, none of those guys can create, and will have to rely on scoring on the counterattack or at the spot

INTRODUCING THE MOST AWKWARD HANDSHAKE IN SOCCER HISTORY

AUGUST 26TH, 2013 BY THOMAS HAUTMANN
Looking for a highlight from Monday’s highly-anticipated match between Manchester United and Chelsea? Good luck. What was billed as a potential classic between two Premier League le favorites turned out to be a dull, goalless draw.
The best that came out of the heavyweight matchup was this series of Getty Images, which caught the most awkward prematch handshake humanly possible between Jose “The Special One” Mourinho, and United boss David Moyes, dubbed by home fans as “The Chosen One.”

Moyes: “Uhh, what are you doing?”

Mourinho: “I don’t know, but it’s too late to change it now.”

Moyes: “Well, this is awkward. I’m sure nobody on social media will mock us for this.”

Agree they're not top four RIGHT NOW, but the Spurs will be okay once Lamela and Chiriches come to the squad. Also talks of them acquiring Hulk from ZST. I don't care how they win right now, as long as they're getting points until all of their targets play, they're golden.

Also, Whoever moderates this forum should add a Tottenham Hotspur logo...guess it's Real Madrid until then.

Yeah, there's something to be said for beating the teams you're supposed to, even if its ugly

Pretty weak game so far between Liverpool and United. Manchester are really lacking a quality offensive midfielder who can initiate good attacking movements. Cleverley so far just doesn't cut it.

Young and Valencia running hard up the wings with Van P. waiting... They can still score even if Giggs needs a motorized vehicle. Cleverly has got to cover a lot of ground, he can't and maintain any sort of playmaker role.

Neither team can put any quality together with 20 min left.

Man U needs much better mid field play. They did not make the characteristic Man U attack when down.

    Liverpool leads the EPL.
