Marc Spears from Yahoo! confirms strained hamstring with no tear.
Mild hamstring sprain is not good news. I hope he's close to 80-85% tomorrow and the Spurs have another flukey shooting night tbh.
Marc Spears from Yahoo! confirms strained hamstring with no tear.
He should rock some some organic cold pressed vegetable juice with leafy greens and tumeric, both of which are known to reduce inflammation. Cramping is a form of inflammation. Also, leafy greens are naturally alkaline, which reduce lactic acid build-up.
So much will a strained hamstring hurt Parker?
I assume his mobility will be limited.
No that article is 10 hours ago.. he tweeted saying it's a strained hamstring and nothing more
Well, damn, that's not good news. Sure, it wasn't the worst news possible, but I was hoping the injury was nothing
Time to update your sig, pard.
Lol you guys love to overreact and cry wolf
Yeah my bad. Well here is everything you need to know about hamstrings: http://www.webmd.com/fitness-exercise/hamstring-strain

If my rudimentary French is to be trusted, I think TonyParker just posted that he has a slight hamstring strain
TP on his Facebook Page:
Je viens de passer l'IRM. Résultat : je souffre d'une légère élongation à l'ischio. On verra demain comment je me sens, j'espère vraiment jouer !!!
...
how is that an overreaction? TP said it himself that it's a hammy strain and those type of injuries are always bothersome/tricky.
He'll play Game 4 but him being limited is a huge blow to the Spurs tbh.

Tony Parker's MRI revealed a strained hamstring without a tear or defect, and he said he hopes to be ready for Thursday's Game 4.
Parker will take it hour by hour and get treatment around the clock, but it's hard to imagine him sitting out regardless of whether or not he's at full strength. He might not be able to do everything he normally does, but Parker should be able to play through it with the Spurs having a chance to take a commanding 3-1 series lead.
He is going to play and he will be fine. Keep a positive at ude guys we are 2 wins away..
TP will play but he'll be limited on his explosion and drive to the basket. It sucks but it is what it is. Manu, I'm looking at you now, the Spurs will heavily rely on you to handle the pick n roll.
Oh yeah, the Spurs are going to need an encore performance from role players. Miami is not going to look like again.
it could have been a lot worse than this.
It's up to Manu, and Cojo to have solid games. Don't turnover the ball. Good passes. Manu is great at driving, kicking, and finishing. I'd be happy if he just created for others and didn't turnover the ball. Cojo can play solid. Again he can't turnover the ball.
It is what it is. If he can't go, I'm hoping it will rally the team for some monster production in the next game (especially Manu and TD).
Tony's production in the last two games hasn't been his usual other-worldly, but the Spurs will miss him dearly. Much like TD/Manu, he draws a lot of attention, which open up shooters. Also turnovers are a key against the Heat, and Tony gives this team a steady hand.
The other bad news is that Rio had an absolutely awful game last night, and you would expect him to come out aggressive in the next one. Putting Neal/Joseph on him might spell trouble.
Here's to hoping he can give us at least a few good minutes tomorrow.
Sucks, tbh. Let's hope Parker can fight through it but a hamstring strain is more mechanical than about dealing with pain..........
Couple bottles of Pops good stuff and he will be good as new,
Tony better play. It's the effing Finals. This is what it's about.
. If Parker is hobbled, I don't think we can end their 'back to back games' streak. They're going to show up next game. It's a game 7 for miami essentially. We all know how they respond in these situations. It would've been tough enough as it is, but if Tony's effected I'd say our chances are slim tbh, barring a surprise game by someone. Looking at you Manu..
