People can hate on Rose all they want, but the real problem is the lack of offensive structure in the Bulls system. There's waaay too much iso-ball for that team. They run one PnR, and if it doesn't work, it immediately turns into an iso-situation for Rose, Butler, or Pau. I'd say that happens about 70% of the time they're on offense.
Thibs is a good coach so I'm petty surprised at how bad they've looked. Not to mention their starters play almost the entire game... Even if they win this series, they're going to be gassed by the time they do...
And who runs those ISOs? Rose.
That deserves every hate he gets.

Part of the reason is their poor roster construction, though..
Rose just can't shoot 3s and he's not a great passer, his only skill is ISO-ball..every year we hear about how he has improved his 3-point shot, but he still hasn't, other teams don't respect his shot, at all..they have looked better than they actually are in this series(until the past 2 games) because Rose was actually making his 3s, which is an anomaly..
They lack shooters..Mike Dunleavy is their only good 3-point shooter, their team has no spacing, which makes it more difficult to run a system that is built around passing and shooting..
Also, some of their best offensive players(Rose, Gasol, Mirotic, Dunleavy) aren't good defensive players, and 2 of their 3 best defensive players(Noah, Gibson) aren't good offensive players..just a poorly constructed team with a cancerous PG..
Once Thibodeau is gone and they begin to rebuild, they need to consider moving Rose, despite the impact it would have in the city of Chicago..

Gasol + Noah is bad statistic combo. Ideally you bring Noah off the bench. Pau + Taj and Noah + Mirotic.
Pau + Mirotic looked okay at points tonight
Noah has looked pretty bad all year..it's tough to bench your big name player, though, as the Spurs have shown with Parker's struggles..
I don't know if you can play Gasol-Mirotic, there would be nothing on defense..

Bulls shot 7/30 in the 4th qtr.. Their offense just really struggles to score consistently. Almost every single quarter they go through a long drought. They have to work so hard to score every point. If they manage to blow this series, Thibs will be looking for work by next Saturday.
Thibs is getting fired regardless, according to Zach Lowe..I would imagine everybody in their locker room knows it, too, including him, obviously..
The only hustle I've seen is Gangster Disciple hustling the Bulls out of $95 million.
