Born in Mexico City, now live in Houston. Great city for business and culture, abominable basketball team.
I was born and raised in West Philadelphia got into some fights and in trouble so I had to move to Bel Air to stay at my aunts. Been a Spurs fan ever since.
Dad was USAF so I finished high school at Holmes, after 9 years active duty came back and went to UTSA til 1986 and since then have visited family in SA since. Live in the Metroplex. Went to lots of games from 83-86.
nahh, River Plate the biggest football club in América! Btw, Tigre football is in San Fernando! Very close to Tigre City
River is cool, Boka is mainstream club
I'm fan (first Partizan Belgrade) of San Lorenzo, and trying to watch every game (basketball also) despite time difference. For now my top dream is to visit Argentina, BA and Nuevo gasometro to watch SL live (but $ is problem).I even started to learn Spanish, to better monitor developments in Argentina.
JAja, like Tevez despite being a bostero prototype.
Boca had better marketing, River is bigger. Weird pick San Lorenzo!!!
Weird because every stranger (Not-Argentinian) choose between Boca and River?
It started with kinda joke actually. My brother started to watch Argentine football a couple years ago, and he was for River. And at some point he told me next: "C'mon, begin to follow argentine football you too. It's amazing (not standard, modern, $ football).
Look, i am "fan" of River, you can be fan of San Lorenzo. Not of Boca because Boca is team for tourist and it's boring."
And i said OK, but after some time he cease to watch and i was interested more and more. Than i found one page on Facebook (Cuervos de Serbia) which helped me to met arg. football better and since that i can call myself "Fan of San Lorenzo".
And one interesting thing...
In march this year, i watched one basketball game (SL vs 9 de Julio) and commentator of that game found that some guy from Serbia watch this game. He was that suprised that he mentioned me in live broadcast of game.
