Can you just tell us the good news?

I hate reading articles like this.

    Thanks
How long does it take to recover from testicle surgery?
Usually a week. It is still going to be sore or swollen for four to five weeks, but it won't be limiting for that amount of time. They won't want to do much and will be too sore to go to work for about a week.

Manu will be back in two weeks imo....wearing a cup.

testicular ruptures aren't that bad honestly. they sound awful, but if the capsule is only slightly torn, you can sew it back together. the main concern is on a personal level- if the blood flow (via the pudendal artery mainly) is gone, then you need to remove/put in a prosthetic. seeing as how the surgery was already completed this morning, i'm assuming he had a capsule tear, which was sown back together. it'll take about a week to fully heal, and then still be sore for 4-5 weeks (only to touch by the 5th week). i'm assuming that's where the 4-6 weeks timeline comes from. he'll likely wear padding/a cup, but should be fine given basketball isn't a high contact sport (i.e. rugby/am football)

LOL... I had a friend who got a nut crushed playing football. It seemed like the worst thing in the world at the time. Sounds like he milked it for attention for months. And it worked, too, because the thought of it made us all cringe.

Here's to hoping Manu's recovery really is complete in 4-6 weeks, and he comes back ready to play bal... ready to win another LOB.

how come nba players don't wear cups?
Have you played sports wearing a cup? Not really comfortable. Most players don't wear a cup unless they absolutely have to, like a Catcher in baseball.

Anyways Manu get well soon. Can't even imagine the pain he went through and likely is still going through.

Guess we'll be getting a glance at what things will be like after Manu and Timmy retire.

Did Holt's Caterpillar dealership step in to provide the surgical tools for the operation?
    They probably needed bigger tools.

I hope this somehow works out for the team and they don't lose the 2nd seed.

For Manu, I hope he gets well soon and is able to come back.

He probably needs some cryotherapy now.
And come back like when guys return with a mask, but not visible.

It takes balls to stand and take a charge like that.
So you're saying he'll never do it again?

No fue mi mejor día, pero la operación salió bien y estaré pronto en casa recuperándome y tratando de volver a la cancha lo antes posible.

Nice of him to send out a message. Says it's 'not my greatest day, but the surgery went well and soon he'll be home to recuperate' and back on the court asap.

I'm hoping he'll still have one and a half, and that it will still be enough.

I really shouldn't joke. The thought of a ruptured nut still just freaks me out. Broken bone? No problem. Ruptured nut? Not so much.

Terrible. I hope he fully recovers. If there was any doubt whether he's retiring after this season, I'm guessing this probably made his mind up.
