Listen..we've gone over defensive rating before and at the time Golden State had encountered San An, they had the best defensive rate in the league....and still lost by 30 and gave up 120 points. Defensive rating doesn't matter when you encounter Golden State. San An is going to have to prove their quality one way or the other. The Warriors are a match-up nightmare for them.

So, how about those Warriors shooting 9-of-36 from three last night? Defensive rating doesn't matter against GS, remember ?

Spurs were 6-2 over the last eight GS games prior to last night. They beat them before and they beat them last night to make it 7-2 since the 2013 playoff series ended. Times haven't changed.

I like how he went out of his way to stat pad at the very end. He shot it from deep with like 2 tenths on the clock. This is why I just can't give this guy props. Kobe lite.
what about that last play to end the game, kent goes and chuck a 3 at the end...what a pos

beating them on our home court is consider a fluke win, while beating us by 30 is called a beating when pop played his whole bench

these fkn clowns are more ignorant then the 05-07 suns...fkn want to see the spurs demolished them in the playoffs

Everyone is conveniently dismissing the spurs win because recent history has the warriors beating the spurs by 30. But they are at the same time dismissing the recent history mentioned in this post.

Kerr crying about being tired. They don't have two days off in a row the rest of the season. With the spurs on their heels, the is no opportunity to rest anyone unless the spurs drop a couple and the warriors don't.

they gonna be tired going into the playoffs since they've had pedal to metal all season.

benefited from easy schedule, now the b2b g ames are catching up to them...playing the fatigue excuse cause they were to busying running their players into the ground chasing some irrelevant team record and padding stats in the 4th quarter running up the score...

while the spurs with 5 new players was still tinkering with its roster, yet is only 3 games behind them...

    warriors season is nothing special

cosigned my nigr. crazy that Kawhi is a top 5 player, probably top 3, and still can't buy a call. I said it before but now that the Lakerfan bandwagon is leeching off of the W's, they're going to get lots of bull calls, especially since Curry is broadening the twink marketshare.

well they are the dog of the league now pushing down our throats

remember 06 series against the mavs, cant even buy a call
the series against the okc 11/12, couldnt even get a call
    now this year with gsw

fkn refs dictating the momentum and swings of the game, wont allow a team to pull away or make a run, wanting to keep its golden team still in pace of the game to steal a win...

It doesn't since they already blew them out. They could have still won the game if they shot better and was in game throughout the entire course. The Spurs didn't dominate them. Both teams pulled out elite defense. Spurs, are proved that they had the better defense. Both teams however the case, scored under 90. Golden State will make an adjustment. Its not unforeseeable since they are a competent team. I don't play the homer card because it clouds judgement and forms hubris. The Warriors are hard workers.

The last 8 games don't matter, all that matters is this year. This year, the Spurs need to keep on proving their quality to the Warriors and the rest of the league.
