Actually Hillary lost this election bc of the pitiful recovery under Obama that helped the rich get richer while continuing to send jobs overseas and imposing regulations that made it impossible for businesses to start or grow. These trade deals, while getting us all cheap goods, costs us jobs. Open borders, which Hillary aspires for, would open the flood gates to Mexico and other places for jobs. Better tell those blue collar workers their jobs are going to Mexico so they need to pack their bags and learn Spanish.

The GOP economy is not unlike the Dems, so I don't know if this gets better with Trump bc I'm not convinced he's an outsider except in terms of being an atypical politician, but this election turned when blue collar workers turned from Hillary to Trump in the rust belt bc the middle class is overtaxed and underpaid and are losing jobs.
Those jobs are never coming back. And even if they do it won't be long until automation makes factory workers obsolete.

Right on Pop! Want to thank him for his service, too.

LOL Trump already starting to renege on his fake promises. Ruh Roh......
This would be one of the few times that not following through with the promises would actually be a good thing.

You are a in fact mistaken, the President of the United States does not need the "approval" of the of Joint Chiefs of Staff or anyone else to initiate an attack, a response or anything else. The Chain of Command ends at the top. We now have a person who has zero experience in public service with the responsibility of making the ultimate decision. I just hope he listens to Pence and others with experience in foreign policy and military matters. Dealing with domestic issues is a sideline. Getting back on track here Pop has the experience to make a qualified statement regarding our new President. Its a free country (for now). Go Spurs Go.
Yes and it is a free country for how we react.

Because Hillary would've done so much better giving away secrets such as it takes four minutes for a nuclear order to be carried out during the debate.

And all the Jesus people supporting Trump. Never has there been an election where your hypocrisy shined through brighter. I'd respect you more if you just sat this one out.

This is whats most frustrating about everything. I'm a follower and Believer in Christ but I hate when people go on TV and represent Jesus the wrong way. All it does is push everyone further away from Him which is the last thing that should happen. Nobodys perfect I guess. But anyways...

Regardless of who was going to win presidency, both candidates are so far from being a Christian (Christ-Like) that it was a lose-lose as far as the individual goes. So that does that mean Christians can't vote?

Granted this was a tough one. I personally did not vote for the first time since becoming of age but I definitely do not blame anyone that voted for either Hillary or Trump. It was like either choosing Satan or one of his followers lol but I understand the feel that it is a necessity to vote. So those that did vote i'm sure are wanting to explain why they voted for their candidate.

There will be a lot of hypocritical "Christians" but that does not speak for everyone. There will be a lot of hypocritical non-christian Trump supporters and Hillary supporters as well but again nobody is perfect. Crying about Trump when Hillary aint not prize pig herself is not much of a defense so I'm surprised Pop went so public with this. But obviously he was very passionate about how much he dislikes trump which i can't blame him.

And thats another thing, i bet a good chunk of people that voted only voted because they didn't like the opposing candidate. Which just sucks when you can't vote for someone you like but instead vote only against someone you don't like.

But honestly this election had two of the worst individuals representing their parties and I believe thats something that most of us can agree on.

Everybody says this every election that both suck etc. We are a nation of 50 states with 315 million people of many ethnicities spread over a continent (more counting Hawaii and Alaska). We're never going to get the "great" candidate that everyone loves. Governors commonly win 60 - 70% of the vote because their area and population is concentrated with more commonality whereas even the winning Presidential candidate rarely receives over 52% of the total popular vote.

I mean your right, not everyone will like everyone 100%

I guess personally, I felt enough favor with the candidates of the previous elections to go vote and support them. But this time it was like...i seriously don't know what to do.

Can't disagree with Pop, all of his comments were well said and there are a lot people that voted for Trump who are disgusted with some things he has said and done. He's a s bag. However, Hilary is a corrupt crook and Pop failed to say anything negative about her.

It all boils down to the Supreme Court and federal judges which will affect our nation long after Trump is gone. The fact that Obamacare is a disaster and our GDP is growing at 1%. Our trade deals and Chinese manipulation of their currency is hurting our economy and weakening our dollar. People in Ohio, Penn, and other places don't have jobs, cannot support their families so what are they supposed to do? So this is why a lot of those voters overlooked Trump's behavior. The choice was between Hilary and Trump, that's it. So, you had to hold your nose and do what you felt was right. Pop can be mad but he is an Obama supporter, a Democrat and financial contributed to the Democratic Party, and is giving a biased opinion.

Pop needs to get over himself, thinking he's so righteous. He's a piece of who let's Tony his teammates wife and let's R.C drink and drive and put people's lives in danger.

its almost like you didn't even listen to what he said

"Not basically because the Republicans won or anything, but the disgusting tenor and tone and all of the comments that have been xenophobic, phobic, racist, misogynistic.
I live in that country where half of the people ignored all of that to elect someone. That's the scariest part of the whole thing to me. It's got nothing to do with the environment and Obamacare, and all of the other stuff. We live in a country that ignored all of those values

That's why I have great respect for people like Lindsey Graham and John McCain, John Kasich, who I disagree with on a lot of political things, but they had enough fiber and respect for humanity and tolerance for all groups to say what they said about the man"

It's like you didn't listen to anything I said. We had 2 options....a John Kasich move equated to a Hilary vote. It's really that simple.

Pop was right that half the country ignored Trump's statements. But he's implying that they were fine with them, which is wrong and biased. That's like saying the people that voted for Clinton were fine with her pay to play schemes with the Clinton foundation or her careless use of confidential emails that were hacked by 5 foreign actors and her blatant lies about them. That would be biased as well. They voted for Clinton mostly because even with her faults, they thought she was better. Trump voters believed he could help the middle class and cared about them, so they turned out. They were more passionate than Clinton and her tiresome War on Women message. The scarey thing is people like Pop want to assume the worst in people so they can get on their high horse and act like they have moral superiority. Yet they are as bad as a racist they claim to hate bc they judge people in the same way...with their own biases.
