Well then if you're more interested in a relationship with her, and not a friendship, you have nothing to lose. If she rejects you, suck it up.
I also fear that she already has a boyfriend and I ask her out. That would be so embarrassing... Any ideas how I can find out? I don't want to ask her friends because they would spread to the whole school that I like her. And I dont' want that.

I know you like this chick but is it so bad she says no? I mean you will get over it and start to like another chick that might like you. Just ask her out and if she says no then her. Be her friend but try to meet another chick.

Haha, i'm 17 and i'm a senior. Its probably weird that your 16 and a sop re and your the one helping.
I've also noticed something. Sometimes she would have a happy tone when she says hi; other times she has a sad tone when she greets me. However, I dont think she's like that around her friends; she's always in a talks in a happy tone to her friends. Any ideas why?
Ask her what's wrong, genius. She may want to confide in you about something.

Basically, stop being shy, talk to her often, and find out more about her. Find out if she has a boyfriend or not, and if she doesn't, ask her out. You don't even have to mention the fact that you want to start a relationship yet. Ask her if she wants to go out anywhere.
That's when you'll find out if she likes you or not.
