They will still scoop up Patty or something.
No. He hustles and has expressed a desire to play for the Spurs.
They will still scoop up Patty or something.
Who are we gonna get?! In a perfect world I would say "No" to Love. But this is FAR from a perfect world for the Spurs. Our frontcourt is in shambles.
Yeah, would make a lot of sense.
LA hustles on defense and expressed desire about playing for the Spurs. That didn't prevent him from being a useless cancer though. The Aldridges and Loves of this World are no longer effective pieces for championships teams, tbh.
I think the price is fare. Green would be a legit get for them at SG. Spurs get several solid prospects for dirt cheap, if they wanted they could probably keep them from coming over next season and pocketing the savings.
Not sure... I expected a young draft prospect or player in a trade but that didn't happen.
I suppose we still need to see how it goes down... any trades with Cleveland wouldn't clear cap..
This is where it helps to know Kyle was scoring on the GSW with no problem in an elimination game at the 4 spot grabbed 7 rebounds and stole the ball 4 times, are you going to get that from Love? Specially Kyle's defense? Not sure. Depending on game Love was getting benched in the Cavs and not closing games.
Spurs system naturally depresses guys numbers unless they are the featured guy. Pop never gave Kyle a straight up legit chance until he had no recourse to do so. I'd say develop Kyle and Davis, get a veteran for those times they are having it rough, David Lee?
Frees the Spurs to address needs elsewhere tbh. Why continue to keep those guys in the doghouse?
I posted last week that I thought Kyle would be the starting PF, and I hoped he was building lower body strength and shooting 1000 corner threes every day. With LMA gone, I could still be 50% right...I wish Pop could find it in his heart to give Deadman a second chance!
Bet Danny goes to 76ers. They need a vet like him.
Yes with either of our young forwards Spurs will need a strong rebounder and center. That's what I meant having both so cheap Spurs would have cap and room to improve at other spots. In reality both will be FA next season and truly both are real Spurs in character, demeanor and discipline. POP has next season to find their role in the league. Specially if Spurs decide to start Simms....
the funny thing? Simms and Kyle both played together in the dleague and took that team to the dleague quarter finals ... won the SL championship together. Hang a coming over was a teammate of Bertans and competed in Euroleague playoffs together. This is generally how Spurs have harvested their talent and developed their young guys, from the inside. Maybe LMA was the one who was the stopgap until all these young spurs were ready... and the alarm bell already rang. The clock was ticking towards this moment. I would imagine in that case, none of these young Spurs are up for trade unless it were for a significant upgrade.
Maybe I am dreaming, but development from the inside has been the Spurs way ... Maybe that's kawhi took Kyle up with Dijon to train. Lol

SAgirl literally just said LMA was the stop gap until Kyle was ready![]()
I'm pretty shocked, if SA was actually open to moving Danny for a solid first rounder, that no deal was done. I believe Danny is damn respected around the league and his deal is very friendly.
Pasecnicks, Bolden, and Lessort for Green would be a great deal for both sides tbh
Danny could thrive in Cleveland with LeBron and Kyrie. He'll get a lot of open looks like he did before the Spurs became too iso oriented with LMA.
I'd rather move Aldridge than Danny, but not until the Spurs know they'll be able to snag a good FA.
If something like this happens I will understand the Spurs draft better.
spurs wanting to trade their defensive SG instead of their 35 year old PG who can't defend and won't even play the first half of the season![]()
Buford trading Danny over getting some assets for Manure from Philly. Wow smh
Danny can hit threes every other game but Manure will go scoreless for double digit games. That's bull . Manure better thank god (even though he's atheist) that he's Mexican in a Mexican town
Does Danny ever tweet about going to the gym? Seems like we only hear about him going to the club or vacation.
Maybe, but I still think it's more likely he's not re-signed. They're overflowing with guards/wings, especially if they plan on bringing in a veteran starting point guard.
Either way, he doesn't need to start just because he's going to be pricey. The two don't always have to correlate; there's plenty of big money 6th-8th men and I see no reason why he'd be any different. His game is more suited to coming off the bench anyway, because he needs the ball, only he's not good enough to have it against frontline players.
Agreed. What he showed in the playoffs, is he might be a guy capable of being our 6th man type player/scorer off the bench. He'll have more freedom, and if he does stay, I'd hope Pop and Co. could sell him on that kind of role. Manu hanging around could also be influential in that regard
Why in the are you worried about another man NOT tweeting about going to the gym? The fact you're a jock-sniffing Twitter stalker of male athletes is condemning enough, but Jesus H. Christ.
Stop of at Whataburger on the way home.
