When Aldridge is the best shooter in the starting lineup, you know you built a roster

Never seen a more cancerous lineup than Gasol, Fathead, D League, and Murray. Carry us to 50 wins Kawhi

Jeff Ayres was 5-8 with 5 assists in his first preseason game with the Spurs.
Lol. And it went downhill from there for ole ayres. I still stand by all of my prior statements about joffrey

Mortgage the future for my first choice pick at 29, Frank Mason. He has more potential in his flat top than all our youth combined.

I think you made a good pick allot of people like him & he was on my short list also.

What I wanted was the center G/S (his name escapes me now) landed.

    Now I hope he sucks

Why would anyone play 41 minutes at a meaningless pre season game?
Specially an old fart that always gets gassed during the playoffs...
Missed the game got to be a mistake.

I thought White played solid. He plays under control and has the ability to shoot off the dribble. Manu's legs already look dead, hitting the front of the rim on shots. Gasol and LMA won't work. They should start Gay at the 4.

Jordan Bell. I'm guessing he fell to the second round because teams are looking for PF's that can shoot and stretch the floor. He won't give you that. His D and rebound is terrific, however.

I tried to tell everyone he is a much better player than his nba stats indicate. He's pretty versatile on the offensive side.

He's not trash as most proclaimed him to be. Some folks were comparing him to jeff freaking Ayres and I think you might have been one of them but can't recall.
Yes I was one but I hadn’t watched him. I thought he’d be a less TO-prone athletic big like I hoped Ayers was going to be. Ayers bad hands ruined him. Still I am glad I was wrong. He’s been much better than I thought he’d be.

    Good evaluation.
I had to get ready for bed and missed most of white’s minutes. He was starting to get hot with his shots when I had to pack the laptop. He might indeed play some this season.

It's just so fustrating to see the warriors just go out and "buy" to legit prospects in back to back seasons.

if i have one criticism about the spurs as a whole (how can you really when we got 5 rings) but anyway its Holt and his apparent unwillingness to spend much above the limit like some other small market owners.

Kyle coming for that contract season baby
Hopefully - Go get that money!

i only saw bits and pieces of the game....That catch & shoot i mentioned about Kyle is exactly what i was talking about in his thread.

At this point i don't even care if he misses as long as he stops thinking and just lets it fly......we need to find this out asap.....

My take fwiw : - Start him the first few months of the season and give him a chance to prove this is now a legit part of his game. If nothing has changed then its probably time to look for trade opportunities.

There is also a player called Boldon - He was picked up in the 2nd round by philly.

I should have said he was my first choice....His dad played pro over here in Melbourne and his skill set is very interesting.

Shoots 3 (quick release), can block shots...has a motor...pro experience....

i was holding out some hope because he was semi under the radar until a couple months prior to the draft.

If we could have "bought" a prospect like him (or Mason etc) similar to what G/S has been doing it would go a long way

Jordan Bell? Yeah him and Josh Hart were the two names I kept hearing the most on here.

A trade up to #13 in the draft was completely possible but Drunkford botched it all up, unsurprisingly. The Jazz traded their 24th and Trey Lyles the bust for that spot.

Jordan Bell would suck ass on the Spurs and any other besides Gsw. That's why everyone passed on him.

    Bertans is flat out trash.
He’s a guy whose only skill is shooting and he can’t make shots.

What's most fustrating to me is how the warriors are buying these high 2nd round picks for only 3 mil.

There was a time you could buy mid - late 20's pick for that amount.

imagine if holt gave POP/RC freedom to speculate and buy a few prospects they like instead of relying on Neal /Simmons situations.

Brimah is a keeper, He held his own against that big dude from Sac. He altered shots, played pretty good tonight. I like White, He's compose and knows when to shoot. Paul was off tonight, but his defense solid. But, I'll take Hilliard over Paul.

It says he played 41 min in the box score. That is way way off. Still, it’s a regrettable contract.
I was at the game, I know he did not play that much.

Shame ...man i would kill for that job to be sitting court side @ every home game.

If you missed it there was no thought whatsoever. He caught a pass that had some mus on it, didn't think and released it as fast as i probably have ever seen him do.
