also, his vorp was god awful, he was NOT doing the hornets any favors.
I find it hard to believe Pop would've put up with Forbes' crap with TP right there on the bench. His role would've eventually been bigger out of seniority, tbh.

ing Kemba's wife, tbh.
Still 9-17 without him and 30-26 with him, tbh.
His plus/minus numbers were almost identical to Kemba Walker's, which is a minor miracle considering how scrubbish the rest of their bench was.
The Spurs wouldn't have been struggling to get to the 7 seed if they had Parker on the roster. Too many nights when the offense just stopped, Tony would have kept things flowing better. They would have won some of those stupid games that they lost. It only would have taken a few.
HOTS servicing his teammates' wives and girlfriends while racking up DNP-CDs tbh.![]()
You'd sign up for that job if you had any talent. Or, you know... a .
yeah, what the spurs really needed was a slow, old PG who can't play defense and can't shoot.
wonder who the hornets will trade him to. never thought he'd finish his contract out there.
really don't want him back. don't do brent like that.
Plus/minus numbers say Parker was the best defender on the Hornets.![]()
I guarantee you there's no problem down there. Believe me.
First season he doesn't have Manu or Tim to carry him onto the playoffs... c'est la vie...
Hornets last year without Parker: 36-46 (0.439)
Hornets this year without Parker: 9-17 (0.346)
Hornets with Parker: 30-27 (0.526)
Once a winner, always a winner. Carrying scrubs per par.
Numbers don't lie, IMO.
All this trolling aside, what's Tony's future? All I know is Sean said they'd be retiring his number in SA next year, which obviously implies retirement. On the other hand, Hornet have a game in Paris next year and TP might the team's ambassador.
If he is done, sad. Dirk and DWade get tributes, Tony gets a DNP. Not right with the karma...
It's a team sport. I am okay with no tributes. Not even for whoever the GOAT is.
Chinook get in here. Parker makes a case for NBA All-Defensive team. We should sign him to improve our defense. I think another good defender is Pau Gasol, what do you think?
No need to worry about a tribute for Parker, although I suppose there'll be one of some kind.
But he's basically French. He played for France in the Olympics, he owns a French basketball team, and he's already been named a Chevalier in the French Legion of Honor. So it's really up to the French to give him the tribute when he retires. The French premier will probably pin a medal on him, kiss him on the cheeks, and they'll have a big parade.
Would Pop go with a three guards on the floor of Patty Bryn and Porker?
Mills, Forbes, Parker, White and Murray will be the starting 5.
dat salt is real
facts 9-17 without 30-26 with.. deal with it
dat vrop tho
I actually don’t think the Spurs offer him a guaranteed contract. There is absolutely no need for him assuming the retain all their guards in the offseason. It would be counter productive to use a spot for him. Pretty sad as I’m a TP fan.
I believe he will play next year tbh... dat Paris event is big for him, perfect way to say goodbye to the French fans
