As mentioned above the Spurs will play to the level of the compe ion and turn it up later in the season.
worst performance so far, man we should be blowin out teams, not makin scrub teams think they can hang with us for an upset
As mentioned above the Spurs will play to the level of the compe ion and turn it up later in the season.
pts from Sasha & Odom, 2 pts from Kobe who already had 23 pts end of 3rd Qtr.
i think this is what pop wants, maddening as it is. i think i remember him being frustrated at the spurs blowing teams out for a while last year. i do like how they shut kobe down and held the lake under 90 points, i just don't like the lack of flow on offense and the long scoring droughts. i would hope that would have something to do with players not being left in long enough to get acclimated and keep runs going.
I thought the Lakers got some nice play from young Bynum tonight. He defended the lane pretty well and he had a couple of nice buckets in the 4th quarter.
Odom was everywhere tonight, though. He save a bunch of trips for the Lakers after Kobe missed time and again in the 4th. The only other player for the Lakers who showed much was Sasha Vujacic. His 7 points on 2 FG attempts (4 point play) came at a key time for them.
i bump the comment just because this is the most accurate one. thanks to basketball fans
Guess who is shooting 78.2 % from the FT line this season?![]()
i was seeing woai and they showed a pic of Tim,Amy,& Sidney.
that baby is soo beautiful
"frustrated at the spurs blowing teams out for a while last year"
NOT frustrated, he just noted that blowing teams out proves nothing, no test of the Spurs in the crunch.
an ugly, ugly game. Lakers shoot 35% but still outscore Spurs in 2nd and 4th qtrs.
Lakers beat Spurs in the paint 52 - 48, Spurs interior defense not performing.
Mavs lost tonight, will be ready to bounce back and womp Spurs again Thurs @DAL.
Will the Spurs be ready?
i didn't want to believe you at first, but now i think you are right. it's just amazing that this could happen to teams coached by brown and pop.
I don't know why I'm surprised I browse over the lg forums and see them whining about refs nonstop. Wow.
I didn't take the time to read the whole thread so sorry if these points were made.
Rasho seems to get a little tentative once he gets into foul trouble. but other than that he is doing very well.
I was very impressed with Sasha ( too bad he is a Laker!). I even heard him getting props on the radio during Game Time React.
The first quarter was a lot of fun to watch. I can't wait until we are back to playing whole games like that.
The team is still a work in progress but I think the Spurs are headed in the right direction.
to sum it all this not what i expect from the new Lakers
they are not as bad as I thought.
and they have young player @ center like Bynum, with potential.
well, we have one too, to face off against him someday-> Ian Mahinmi
but, they're good, they could still catch up until playoffs.
Bruce Bowen is awesome.
That is all.

If not for Bowen Kobe could have made a 50 pts out of his 33 attempts.........
Any win against the Lakers is enjoyable.
Yes he is!!!![]()
