Cry me a ing river, all the gains in wealth have been concentrated at the top for the last 45 years and the last five were especially egregious. You ever heard of the principle of diminishing marginal utility? That your second house offers much less utility than your first, your third car much less than your second, etc? So why should this country prioritize dragons hoarding wealth? Other than the obvious answer that this nation is an oligarchy by design.
