we both know the Spurs will end up buying them out
Dj was a pest. His long arms did as much as wemby, 5 steals. As a team they had 14!
we both know the Spurs will end up buying them out
Any ideas who that could be?
Can we finally agree that the problem is defense?
Meanwhile bulls beat bucks by sitting out demar n lavine lol
Trae also went 13 of 16 on fts. Keep him off line a Lil more n we win
I doubt all those are steals but more of TO’s from lazy passes
A few days ago the kings and warriors were battling and steffie was getting calls and making 40 footers off of moving screens…
even Mike BRown- yes Mike Brown had enough sense to double curry and get the ball out of his hands…
kings barely won that game and lil steffie didnt get to bail out the warriors
just hate it when Pop refuses to try anything different…
The players suck at this. They are doubling constantly. Usually they are doubling someone who isn't the other team's best scorer, but even when they do manage to double the correct player, it's just an automatic open 3 for the other team.
They hurt themselves more by not just staying home on their own man.
No one that could be useful this year. It’d be for a team eager to get off dead money for next year and willing to add a draft asset. Players like Lonzo Ball, Ben Simmons, Rozier come to mind.
Problem is that GMs have wised up in recent years. There really aren’t THAT many bad middle of the road salaries any more, which makes expirings less helpful.
The Matt Bonner Double Team, aka chasing the basketball around the floor.
It was some of both. The Hawks had 14 steals as a team, which is pretty absurd, but a few of those were just good plays by them. Many were lazy or poorly-conceived passes by the Spurs too.
Don't get me wrong, the Spurs defense has been consistently awful all season. But I don't think the defense last night was as bad as the Hawks' 137 points would indicate. The Hawks had 14 steals as a team, a very high number, and many led to fast break buckets that are very hard to defend efficiently.
It was surprisingly hard to find out that the Hawks had 13 fast break points last night. I couldn't find it in any box score (bkref, ESPN, NBA.com). Instead I had to go to the link below and look at "last 1", and that will only work until the Hawks play another game. Does anyone have a good source to find out how many fast break points a team has scored in each game, as opposed to just averages?
