Was a great game. The late Wemby block on Giannis will be on his career highlight reel--rookie Iverson crossing MJ-esque moment. Also, a small thing, but I liked seeing Vic show leadership by going over to lift up Tre after the missed three.
If it takes until then he'll be on the Lakers when he's 30

it's not like the Spurs have a lot of PG running around. Unless they draft a good one and trade for a vet, I think that Jones is here to stay
Wemby is otherworldly, we are so damn spoiled.
Thanks. Damn, that’s a shame, I liked him before that.
He's still the fourth best player on this team and it's not even close
Saw the stadium home feed, not the TNT game feed. Which was focused on the Spurs bench every break. And Wemby looked frustrated as on the sideline. Pop wasn't even involved in drawing up the final play...an assistant did it. Wemby grabbed the Board from the assistant, forcibly, and re-drew a play.
The fact Pop wasn't involved and Wemby got animated...Wow. Just Wow.
Tre Jones is a 3 pg on most teams.
Btw, those minutes after Barlow went down and Mamu played were tragic.
As was that minute with Jeremy or whoever was at C.
Solid game for current Spurs standards, but Bucks are awful outside two stars. Even Brook looks washed.
5 best on the team are wemby, vassell, keldon, tre, collins
after that its barely nba talent. sure, cedi is an end of bench guy on a normal nba team. otherwise its guys who could very well be out of the league in 2-3 years and would surprise nobody
Great game! Damn wish we would have won this for Wemby's birthday. Tre needs to make that
Good to see glimpses of good of team could be with bit more talent around him and more minutes.
Interesting, guess Wemby wants more instruction than "basketball gods"
Wow...given now we are at the player holding power era, wouldn't be surprised that Wemby will not stay at SA for his whole career.
This last timeout from Pop was really unnecessary, we had the momentum.
Wemby ain't down for this loser and I'm loving it.
Wemby is just so ing special. The he did in this game is otherwordly. It’s like Manu and Giannis had a demon baby.
Vassel and Keldon need to bring it every night like they did tonight. If they do, the win total would more than double.
Imagine if the Spurs had a GM with an eye for talent and a good coach ....
BTW, does anyone miss Collins?
I miss Bassey more.
Collins is better than Mamu but still is going to be cement shoes on this team and it's cap
Awful run by Wrong & Pop
Yeah can't hate on Jones too much, he was wide open etc etc, but you just knew that wasn't going in.
This is best case scenario
Gave a good team a heavy punch and hung with them granted Middleton out 2nd half
Preserves Spurs best draft pick odds
Tip of the cap to Bucks especially Gianis with the 2 threes in crunch time
Wemby is a nice kid who is genuinely unimpressed with other NBA stars in their prime. Perhaps rightfully so, Giannis averaged all of 6.8 PPG as a rookie and didn’t exceed Wemby’s current PPG until year 4.
LOL Barkely: "Some dude named Osman", "some dude name Keldon"
Jesus Christ. This dude is leaving for greener pastures the first chance he gets. The only hope is that he has a weird enough character and the ghosts of Tim, Tony, and Manu work their magic in the background.
Wemby is gone at the end of his rookie contract if he doesn't a team capable of competing. We can tell that he wants to compete now, he doesn't want the minute restriction. The Spurs have two years to create that team.
Don't worry we'll be bottom 3, not sure what for, but that's what the Spurs want.
