    Since then 4-6 and 2-4

and he’s doing good work driving toward the rim
I don't know man Risacher looked kinda lost out there I thought. Early jitters? Really weak on drives. He will be fine though. Definitely had a better 2nd half for sure and finishing stats look good. Hit a pretty big three towards the end there. That game was actually pretty exciting lol

I'm intrigued by the Wiz with the Carrington/Kyshawn/Sarr trio. Pretty fresh roster renovation and looked decent.

Holmes was supposed to be an immediate contributor his rookie season, pretty big blow for Denver after losing KCP.

Risacher would have fit like a glove too. Had him and Reed as my #1 and #2 sigh
Same, same. Would have rather traded up w 4+8 to get one of these guys than punt that #8 pick down the road

Huge blow for an already thin Nuggets team. That’s tough. They drafted him in large part cause he was older and ready to contribute from Day 1, as Mugen noted.

Most people don't realize how ed Nuggets are.

It's just ridiculous how awful their rosters have been in most seasons.
To put things into perspective how good Jokic is, he won 48 games with this rotation in 21-22 season.
Gordon, Monte Morris, Jeff Green, Barton, Bones Hyland, Austin Rivers, Jamychal Green, Campazzo, Zeke Nnaji, Bryn Forbes.
Two years later and everyone except Gordon is either out of the league or barely in on a minimum deal.

    This season they'll have:
Murray, the most overrated player in the league, on an expiring contract because he still hasn't signed a max extension they offered him.
MPJ, negative IQ traffic cone who's only good for his Klay moments and some rebounding. He's also on a max contract which completely ruins their cap situation.
Gordon, the only role player on a fair deal, but next summer he'll have a player option so they can get even more ed.
Nnaji, useless wing who can't shoot, score or rebound.
Braun, decent guard/wing off the bench, too bad he looks to be their second best guard as of now.
    Holmes, torn achilles.
Cancar is another scrub, got extended for some reason, coming off ACL injury.
Deandre is a cheerleader at this point, unplayable.
Saric is their only free agency signing and will probably get way more minutes than he should because their roster is just that bad.
They have some more scrubs like Pickett, Watson, Strawhter who aren't even worth mentioning.

Their 2025, 2027 and 2029 picks have been traded away.

    It's a ing disaster, tbh.
If Jokic got injured, they'd be the worst team in the conference, even worse than Blazers and Jazz.

Yeah the Nuggets FO’s incompetence has been hidden by how dominant Jokic is. They’ve been pretty awful the past couple of years in terms of building around Jokic and setting themselves up for the next 2-3 years. Even if Jokic is a top 3 player in the league for another few years their outlook still isn’t too bright.

Last year, Barlow and Branham looked pretty phenomenal in the SL. Look at where that got us. Barlow isn't in the league and Branham isn't far behind. It's certainly great when a player does well, especially as a rookie, but it's just summer league.

Rockets are missing a #1 guy still but have a nice little core + Ime is a top coach. Thankfully they're the Rockets and will f it up somehow tbh.
That's the worst spot to be, tbh. Unless one of their guys develops into a true #1, the Rockets will be mediocre for years and drafting in the teens without ever getting the chance to get their guy.

Amen/Sheppard/Jabari/Sengun is a very solid core + they have a good amount of future draft picks from other teams that could land them a star (whether by trade or the draft itself). I get what you’re saying but not sure I’d describe them as being in some terrible spot; they have a more promising outlook than 2/3 of the league. That being said they’re still the Rockets so we just have to bank on them doing Rockets things

Branham shot like 35% from the field or something in last years summer league. High volume but no efficiency. Wasn’t particularly promising for him compared to what we saw from Barlow and Shampenny
