probably, but van exel shooting under 35% for what feels like EVERY game and shooting RIDICULOUS pull up shots when he's 1 on 5 has got to go. van exel is better at bringing the ball up the court, but i really hope we kick him to the curn when his contract is up
You sounds like somebody who has never seen or heard of Nick Van Exel before this year.

wait till playoff time. vanx was never a good % shooter. Did you expect him to have the middas touch all of a sudden. He is a clutch palyer and you will eat crow in the playoffs

He said he's retiring after this season.

Props to Timmy for trying to play "between bathroom breaks". (That's a Pop quote from postgame)

Big game from Manu and Tony .. and some big shots by Bruce.

    EXACTLY

BEFORE this year he was fine. he was amazing in that series against us when he was on DAL. but guess what? those days are LONNNNNNNNNNNNNG gone to the point where he's deteriorated to nothing more than a bench warmer. i am AMAZED that pop puts this guy over barry, who is better than NVE at virtually ever facet of the game. and barry isnt exactly a stud anymore either, which shows you where NVE is. i was really exicted about getting him, but he really isnt much more than antoine walker with slightly less baggage for us

He said in an interview that he plans to retire after this year.

AllHipHop.com: How many more years do you plan on playing? Do you have an estimate in mind?

Nick Van Exel: I plan on making this year my last. After that, I can go ahead and do other things.

You realize that Tim was running to the lockerroom/bathroom all game. We're lucky he even played.

Am I correct In saying the Spurs just walked onto another teams home court on which said team had a 12 game winning streak, and came out with a tough victory.

There will be no fanfare about this, but a great effort.

I thought it was only once. Great effort by TD today under the cir stances. Had a good stretch in the fourth. He even hit his first bank shot in _____ games

Outstanding crunch time play. It turned this game into a bit of a rout.

Well I saw him go to the locker room in the 2nd and in the 4th. I'm assuming there were other times we didn't see because Pop jested that Tim had a good game "between bathroom breaks."

    EXACTLY

BEFORE this year he was fine.
    What are you talking about?

    FG% 2005-2006 40.5%
    FG% career 40.5%

    3P% 2005-2006 32.3%
    3P% career 35.6%

Considering he isn't getting the minutes and volume touches he got in the past, his ability to basically be the same shooter he always has been is remarkable.

NVE is playing this year EXACTLY how anyone paying attention should have expected he'd play.

    WOW
Robert Horry's career 3G% is 34.5. Pop doesn't get these guys for their regular season stats, he gets them for their BIG playoff stones.
