NO TURNOVERS FOR TP

Parker with 23 points (10-17) 4 rebounds 8 assists and 0 turnovers. Nice!
Tony was about the only energetic Spur for most of the game. He was incredible tonight. Rasho played excellent D and hit some big shots. Nazr had a great 2nd half.
The Robert Horry steal and 3 after the Rockets got it to a 5-point lead was BIG. The Spurs ended up on a 7-0 run and the Rockets couldn't make a further run.
Timmy got it going late. Nice finish guys!
Thats impossible.Rasho played excellent D and hit some big shots.
I was told he couldn't do that.
if Pop is sitting Timmy in the next back-to-back, I think it should be against GS instead of Denver. Denver can be a monster in rebounding and we need Tim's presence there.
I think this was one of the better games this year.
good game san antone
On a back to back. Say it ain't so.
The first quarter was extremely ugly. The first half, actually.
TP took over in the 2nd half, plus he got everyone involved.
Rockets get 9 bench points to the Spurs 34 bench points.

I had all game in my mind.
They're beginning to get that old Spurs tactic down pat---let 'em stay close until the final 4 minutes of the game, then lock the defense down and pull away.
I like it!
it would be better for our (fans) sanity if they leave them in the dust from tipoff...![]()
Beno logged alot of minutes I see. Did he start? How was his decision making
Yes TP and Beno started in the backcourt. Manu with the sore calf.
Beno missed a lot of shots and he made some sloppy plays with a couple of bad passes and then getting stripped. Not one of his better games.
He did a few nice drives late.
It looks like the Spurs are peaking as they do in the past years. Just hope Manu's injury isn't serious and is part of Pop's plan to sit him and Duncan out at b2b games. On the positive side, Duncan seems to react better in this b2b test (4/7 FG, with big baskets in Q4). Also, the rest of the team contributed. If the rebounding can be improved further (e.g. Rasho with only 1 rb), the Spurs must be the team to beat in the Finals.
He sucks!
Sincerly Ducks
he started and played bad.
Of course, you can't say that........
3-8 FG is a lot?
I agree about sloppyness.
he had two straight turnovers and pop had to get tp back in there
this was one of his worse games in awhile though BUT IT WAS AGAINST A GOOD DEFESIVE TEAM
NOTICE TP HAD 0 turnovers though
After a butt ugly first quarter scoring 11 pts, the Spurs played a solid game esp hitting their shots in the 4th qtr. Tony was superb driving and jump-shooting.
Spurs were outrebounded and outscored in the paint, again.
But a solid win anyway.
ESPECIALLY ON ING SECOND OF B2B and on the road.
Rasho got one ing RB in 19 minutes, but Rasho defended well and hit his shots.
But, Houston really, really sucks without Tracy.
Why you compare Beno to TP? Beno is just his sub not his compe or.
He didn't score in the first half. He went 0-5 (0-4 first half, I think) until he finally scored on a layup in the 3rd. He missed some open shots that he has been making. He hit a nice corner 3 late.
