That's a negative.
Does Kevin Ollie have anything left?
That's a negative.
I figured. I was just asking cause not much to work with on the Philly roster.
Who are the other teams interested other than Phily?
Chris Webber?
Matt Barnes is a FA, so is Willie Green but Sixers are trying to sign him, they threw some deal at him.
I had to throw that in.
You know, I would not mind him on this team. At his age he can't play too many minutes which is ideal if you want to bring a Javtokas along as well as give Horry minutes.
I tell you, at the right price I would take C.Webb for 2-3 years.
Milwaukee may be in the hunt for a point guard now that TJ Ford is gone. Why not give up Beno + Barry + Williams for Jamaal Maglorie and Charlie Villanueva. Maglorie would be our starting center and Villanueva would be a solid backup to Tim and maglorie. This will allow us to save Horry for the playoffs. We would still have the MLE and I believe we should consider Bonzi Wells and have Manu share minutes at the point with Tony. We should still have Sanders on the roster and I believe Watson will join the Spurs this season as well as Javtokas.
C - Javtokas, Maglorie, Horry
PF - Duncan, Villanueva
SF - Bowen, Sanders, Wells
SG - Finley, Wells, Ginobili
PG - Parker, Ginobili, Watson
I wonder what the ISP in fantasy land is.
Just a thought.......
Why not give up Beno + Barry + Williams for Jamaal Maglorie and Charlie Villanueva.![]()

The Bucks aren't crazy.
Blasphemy!!![]()

It might have been someone in the Spurs FO saying "yeah, we've had a bunch of teams asking about him" trying to generate some interest to get the price up.
I live about 30 miles west of Philly, and I can tell you that I don't know a single Sixer fan that likes Hunter. I guess if you just wanted to get another 7 footer to replace the one you just lost then he's there for the taking, but I don't see how he makes the Spurs better than last year.
yup. both nazr and rasho are better than ing steven hunter. the spurs need a big man that can play defense, something hunter knows nothing about.
Steven Hunter had a couple of moments against the Spurs in the WCF, and people think that means he has potential. See Nazr to the Pistons for reference.
The other teams interested in Beno are the Slovenian National Team, the Austin Toros, and John Jay HS.
Another indication that whatever tradeable assets the Spurs think they have, those assets are not highly regarded by the majority of the league's execs. A factor that will make it difficult to fill the team's needs via trade.
Trading Beno will create a void at backup PG. IMO, Hunter is way athletic but is a downgrade from Nazr.
Yeah, you just posted an article from SpursReport.com
Believe nothing those jackasses say. They just ripped off the Philly paper and added their own commentary.
WTFHow the are we going to get Villanueva and Wells if we have no money???
Also how in the is Ginobili a 3rd string SG and back-up PG?![]()
I didn't place them in order of strings. I was just placing names in the positions they would play.
This trade worked on realgm.com and I know Milwaukee is looking to unload Maglorie and I added another name with him (villanueva). Barry and Beno would compliment Michael Reed and their contracts would expire soon along with Williams. Sweeten the deal with the rights to Scola. Maglorie's contract will expire after this year and we should be under the cap for next summer.
Bonzi Wells would come in if he is willing to receive the MLE
A lot of stuff "would work".
Not a lot would 'make sense' though.
Chris Webber has 2 years on his contract worth about 40 million.
I bet you Isiah Thomas would do it since he loves having a team full of guards.![]()
