If the Spurs beat a rival in the WC championship, but got annihilated in the finals, we wouldn't gloat about being western conference champions.
Unlike some Mavs fans, who have nothing better to do than to praise about how they beat the Spurs, what about losing to the Heat in the biggest choke of finals history?
Congrats to the Mavs, regular season champions. Stop talking so much and realize what happened in the past. Oh, you can go "get over the past, Spurs", but many Mavs fans talk about how they beat the Spurs and they love that so much... which happened in the past. Why do you gloat about beating the Spurs so bad? I know, because it makes you feel so much better about getting annihilated by the Heat. I tipped my hat to the Mavs, they won, but Mavs fans keep talking about us so that makes us not want to support the team.
Oh, and if the Mavs won last year? You're KIDDING YOURSELVES if you'd never use the ring debate in an arguement with a team without them.
Championships define greatness, not a record. The Heat were great in the finals, lackluster in the regular season. They played so good because they were out for blood after the victory parade was announced after the first two games.
Karma is a and stop denying the fact that us having rings, your rivals, doesn't even matter and it's all in the past. You'd say the EXACT SAME THING if the roles were switched.
