I'm not taking anything personally, Tpark. You're just wrong. Just because I believe you're wrong doesn't mean I've taken anything personally.

Parker averages 7.6 shots per half. He put up 7. His play is normal.

it's not hard to figure out - small ball.
portland was 9-22 in 1st quarter, no small ball.
after the spurs went to small ball, portland scored at will (missing only on jumpshots). luckily, portland's defense is even worse than san antonio's
and they scored only 2 more points against small ball than big ball.

    Go fig.

I really hope they come out strong here and put this game out of reach before the fourth. The Spurs will need rest for tomorrow night.

    it was an opinion.

An opinion is neither right nor wrong, you constantly preach that.

not all of the 2nd quarter was small-ball. portland shot a much higher field goal percentage and got to the line more against small ball.

how the are the spurs #2 in the league in scoring defense
Because there's that many bad teams in the NBA who don't play any defense at all. Also, thanks to the Suns and Mike D'Antoni, more and more teams are using the "run and gun" style of playing basketball... even the Grizzlies have changed their M.O to this style.
