If we're talking pure singing? This is between the two gospel like singers.
The others can't even hold a candle to those two.
From the start I liked Jordyn Sparks. She's adorable and can sing her heart out. That's what helps you win American Idol, and do well in the future. That's why Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood have done so much better then Ruben or Fatnasia. I can't stand Taylor Hicks. And Sanjanya obviously has the cute part down, the singing just hasn't caught up yet.
I was shocked when they kept Haley over Sabrina. I wanted Haley to stay but really thought she was out when it was down to the final 2 girls. Hopefully she can stay until the top 10 because then she'll get to go on tour. Do you think if she wins AI that people will be partying on Commerce downtown? lol jk
And I am sad that Jason aka Sundance went home. I really can't stand Sanjaya and when he sings I don't even pay attention anymore. I liked his audition but during the top 24 he just didn't do anything for me. I'm going to miss Sundance.

Sanjay obviously has all of India voting for him. He's probably going to win the whole compe ion. Sabrina was a shocker, she can sing but her appearance probably limited her votes. Haley is sweet, but she's just out classed right now. Nothing wrong with going as far as she has. None of this really matters because Melinda Doolittle is going to win very easily.

I can't believe that guy is still in, either ... although I don't know who, besides Sundance should have stayed in his place. I don't really like the guys much this time ... although Blake has been pretty entertaining so far.
I'm stunned that Haley didn't go home last night, although I'm glad Antonette or whatever is out...I thought she was going to be there for a while with the hot/Pickler/whatever vote, but she was terrible.

thats all Sundance did with jeremy, and Eddie Vedder only "yelled' at small parts in he song, the rest he sang.
But daughtry did scream sometimes, but he was wayyyyy better than Taylor Hicks.

He just didn't have a pop voice, more of a slow, James Taylor-ish type. Of course his album isn't gonna do well, he's not a pop guy. I'm glad he won, he deserved to.Thats always the darn case.

Haley is safe- I'm glad for her.
I do think though that she needs to step up her performance. Haley seems sweet but is too shy as a perfomer, especially given her powerful compe ion.

The whole compe ion is a waste of time, because Melinda Doolittle is so much better than everyone including Lakisha. Melinda needs to go straight to the recording studio.
